In recent years,more and more science educators in our country pay much attention to Science Writing.In our country,a great deal of research has been done on Science Writing in science education,from the meaning,the value,the type of task and the teaching strategy of Science Writing.These studies found that integrating scientific writing in science teaching can not only help students change the concept,influence the meaning constructing,eliminate misconceptions and learning difficulties,but also can improve the students’ ability of scientific reasoning and written.As an important part of students’ scientific literacy,the ability of Science Writing is one of the abilities that educators must focus on.However,in the current science education in our country,most of the schools pay little attention to the cultivation of students’ Science Writing ability.Therefore,this study from the theory and practice discussed how to improve students’ ability of Science Writing.From the aspect of theory,this research established the Open Experiment Report Strategy basing on existing teaching strategies of Science Writing by reviewing the document at home and aboard,and developed a set of tools used in the implementation of Open Experiment Report Strategy.From the empirical aspect,students who majoring in chemistry were studied in this study.The Open Experiment Report Strategy was implemented in the Intermediate Organic Chemistry Experiment course to research the effect of the strategy on students’ Science Writing ability.Through the research,we found that the Open Experiment Report Strategy can improve the students’ ability of Science Writing to some extent.This paper consists of the following parts:The first part is the introduction.Through the collation and analysis of domestic and foreign literature,this paper determined the research questions and the purpose of the study,and pointed out the significance of the study,carded the research ideas and the methods of the study.The second part is the theorical framework.This study reviewed the related theories on Science Writing,including the connotation and the composition elements of Science Writing,the type of task and the clarifies of Science Writing and the important value of Science Writing in science education.After that,this study established the strategy of Opening Experiment Report Stratagy on the basis of the existing research,and pointed out that the evaluation of Open Experiment Report should proceed from the three dimensions of the normative,scientific and logical.The third part is the design of the empirical research.This study taken the students who majoring in chemistry as the research object,and studied the influence of the Strategy of Open Experiment Report on students’ Science Writing ability.In order to meet the needs of the research,this study designed a series of effective research tools for the implementation of Open Experimental Report Strategy.The fourth part is analysis of the result of the research.Through the research,it is found that the Open Experiment Report Strategy can influence the students’ Science Writing ability to some extent,it can improve the students’ Science Writing ability.The study also found that the level of the girls’ Open Experiment Report on the scientific and normative is higher than that of boys,boys in level of the logic is higher than girls.Chemistry(non normal)professional students in the level of the normative and scientific is higher than the Chemistry(normal)students,the difference of logic are not significant.The level of the students who were guided by the teacher is higher than those who were not guided.The fifth part is the conclusion and prospect of the research.Through the analysis of the whole process of the research from the theory and practice,this paper drawn the conclusions of the study and proposed the teaching implications,and pointed out the innovation of this study.
