With the improvement of living standard,people's awareness of environmental protection and health care has been increasingly strengthened.The safety,health care and environmental protection of textiles have attracted more and more attention.Therefore,flame retardant textiles are very important to eliminate fire hazards and ensure people's safety.Negative oxygen ion textile has the function of purifying air and being beneficial to human health.So,the development of flame retardant and negative oxygen ion composite fabric has a very broad development prospect.To develop a flame retardant and negative oxygen ion composite function of jacquard fabrics,we used the negative oxygen ion polyester fiber and flame retardant polyester fiber as warp yarn and weft yarn materials.Through the electron microscopy experiment to observe the transverse and longitudinal surface structure of the two kinds of fibers,observing the structure of fiber and the analysis of the effect of structure on performance.The moisture regain and tensile fracture properties of single fiber were tested to understand the relationship between fiber structure and properties.By the experiment result shows that negative oxygen ion fiber cross section shows irregular oval,the hollow cavity in the fiber has microporous structure on its surface,and the longitudinal surface of the fiber also has microporous structure,which increases the moisture regain of the fiber and is conducive to the release of negative oxygen ions.And the longitudinal section and cross section of flame retardant polyester fiber have smooth surface,and the initial modulus of fiber is larger than that of ordinary polyester fiber,which is not easy to deform.In order to understand the effects of functional yarn content ratio,weave and warp and weft density on fabric properties,the flame retardant polyester yarns are used as the warp yarns,and the negative oxygen ion polyester yarns and flame retardant polyester yarns are used as the weft yarns in this paper.And a series of test samples A,B and C are designed for comparison experiment.In the series A,9 samples with different weft interweaving ratios were produced,sample of negative oxygen ion polyester yarn and flame retardant polyester yarns in the weft insertion rate followed by 1:0,1:4,1:3,1:2,1:1,2:1,3:1 and 4:1 and 1:0.Then the effect of the content of negative oxygen ion polyester fiber on the properties of fabric with negative oxygen ion release and the effect of the content of flame retardant polyester fiber on the properties of fabric with flame retardant were tested.The fitting function was performed for the content of negative oxygen ion polyester filament in the interwoven material and the concentration of negative oxygen ion.And the fitting equation was:Y=1050.9e0.0225X,among which R2=0.9773.Analysis of experimental data concluded that the negative oxygen ion content of polyester yarn and fabric releasing negative oxygen ion number have a positive relationship,when the weft yarn in the weft insertion ratio increases,the proportion of negative oxygen ion fibers increased,so the fabric can release more negative oxygen ions to enhance its performance.When the ratio of flame retardant polyester yarns and negative oxygen ion polyester yarns in the fabric is 0:1,that is,when the negative oxygen ion polyester yarn content in the fabric is 38.2%,the negative oxygen ion concentration released is the highest,reaching 2505/m3.When the weft insertion ratio of the fabric is 1:1,that is,the content of negative oxygen ion polyester yarn in the fabric is19.1%,the negative oxygen ion concentration released by the fabric is 1565 cm3,which meets the requirements of negative oxygen ion concentration in the park.The damage length of the fabric in warp and weft direction is affected by the change of the content of flame retardant polyester silk in the fabric to a certain extent.Moreover,when the weft insertion ratio of the fabric is 1:1,that is,when the content of flame retardant polyester yarn in the fabric is 80.9%,the fabric has the best flame-retardant property.In the series B,in order to test the influence of fabric weave on the negative oxygen ion release and flame retardant performance of the fabric,a total of four kinds of samples of different tissues were produced.The analysis of experimental data shows that satin produces a higher concentration of negative oxygen ions than other tissues,and plain weave has the best flame retardant performance.In the series C,in order to test the influence of density on the function of releasing negative oxygen ions and flame retardant performance of the fabric,four kinds of samples with different weft densities were produced.The analysis of experimental data shows that all other things being equal,with the increase of weft density,the concentration of negative oxygen ion produced by the fabric is higher.The change of fabric density will affect the fabric tightness and then affect the flame retardant function of the fabric,and when the fabric density increases,the fabric structure will be more closer,the effect of the flame retardant will be better.Finally,according to the research results,when the fabric flame retardant polyester yarn content is 80.9%,the negative oxygen ion polyester yarn content is 19.1%,that is,the ratio of flame retardant polyester yarns and negative oxygen ion polyester yarns in the fabric is 1:1,the fabric has good flame retardant and negative oxygen ion compound function,so choose the content of the functional yarn proportion for subsequent design.With the help of pattern design software and JCAD electronic jacquard design software,a total of three interwoven fabrics with fashionable,beautiful appearance style and with negative oxygen ion and flame retardant composite function are developed,which are suitable for subsequent development and production.
