To solve the problem of low recovery rate of spodumene in Western Sichuan,this paper takes the spodumene ore as the research object,and develops a high efficiency combination collector.Through the combination of different kinds of anion and cation collector,ST-8 which have good selectivity for spodumene and feldspar,is obtained.It is applied to flotation of spodumene ore in West Sichuan.According to the flotation characteristics of the spodumene ore in Western Sichuan,at the grinding fineness of-0.074mm content 77.2%,through the process of one roughing-one scavenging-three fine,under reagent regime of roughing sodium carbonate dosage of1000g/t,which was added to the mill,sodium hydroxide dosage of 700g/t,calcium chloride dosage of 80g/t,the collector ST-8 dosage of 2000g/t,first selection sodium carbonate dosage of 800g/t,second selection sodium carbonate dosage of 400g/t,third selection sodium carbonate dosage of 200g/t,scavenging sodium hydroxide dosage of 100g/t,the collector ST-8 dosage of 500g/t,gain a concentrate Li2O grade of 6.05%,recovery of 43.63%flotation index through open process test,obtain a concentrate Li2O grade of 6.34%,recovery of 88.51%flotation index through closed-circuit test.The anionic collector sodium oleate,agent of cationic collector DDA and 1231 as an example,the mechanism of a single anion collector,cationic collector and Yin and Yang combination collector was studied,such as the single mineral flotation test of spodumene,feldspar,surface tension measurement,dynamic potential test,infrared spectrum characterization,and solution chemical calculation analysis of sodium oleate and twelve amine combination collector.Single mineral test shows that single collector can't effectively realize flotation separation of spodumene and feldspar,while zwitterion collectors can effectively separate spodumene and feldspar under a certain mole ratio and pH condition.The results of surface tension test show that the collector collectors can reduce the surface tension of flotation solution system,which is favorable for the hydrophobic surface of minerals and easy to float.The dynamic potential test and infrared spectrum analysis show that the combination of sodium oleate and DDA combined with 6:1 and the two single minerals of spodumene and feldspar,the surface potential shift of spodumene is much stronger than the negative displacement of the surface potential of feldspar.At the same time,the absorption peak intensity after the action of spodumene is much stronger than that of feldspar,indicating that the combination of sodium oleate and DDA has positive synergistic effect,so that the separation of spodumene and feldspar can be achieved.The solution chemical analysis of combinatorial collector shows that when the pH is 8.5,RNH3+and(RNH3+)22+positive ion and negatively charged RCOO-and?RCOO-?22-ions to form a high activity of complexes to react with mineral surface by electrostatic attraction,so as to realize the separation of lithium pyroxene and feldspar.The development of combined collector ST-8 has practical guiding value for solving the problem of low recovery rate of spodumene ore and the comprehensive utilization of useful minerals in Western Sichuan.At the same time,the study of this topic also has important theoretical significance to solve the problem of flotation separation technology of the complex pegmatite type spodumene ore in China.
