The drum self-adjusting technology is one of the key technologies to improve the mechanization and automation level of fully mechanized coal mining face.At present,the research on the design of the height adjusting mechanism of shearer is generally based on experience and previous design examples to make the prototype,after the completion of the prototype to conduct the performance test of the shearer.If there are problems or the design requirements are not met,the design should be modified and the prototype rebuilt.Therefore,it is necessary to develop a software for load simulation and optimization of shearer heightening mechanism,so as to make shearer heightening mechanism more scientific and reasonable in the early design process.This paper firstly introduces the drum shearer and the identification method of coal and rock.Then theoretical analysis is carried out for the shearer height adjustment mechanism,and the force model of the whole height adjustment mechanism is established.After determining the value of coal and rock characteristic parameters,the widely used MG2 160/710-wd thin seam shearer in actual mining production was selected as the reference sample machine in this paper to determine the structural parameters of the height adjustment mechanism.Based on the force model of shearer's spiral drum cutter,the load calculation method of single cutter is given.The load of all cutting teeth is superimposed and extended to the whole helical drum to obtain the calculation method of the load of the shearer helical drum.Since the load obtained through theoretical modeling is the load in a certain period,which is not intuitive enough,this paper adopts the method of MATLAB programming calculation tool to simulate the load of the spiral drum of the shearer rotating for one week under different traction speeds,and obtains the load curve and analyzes it.Then,the stress model of shearer height adjustment oil cylinder is established based on the structural parameters of the sample machine.Taking the load of shearer height adjustment oil cylinder as the objective function of optimization design,constraint conditions conforming to the actual working conditions are added.The structural parameters of shearer height adjustment mechanism are optimized with MATLAB optimization toolbox.Finally,the optimized parameters are substituted into the stress model of the raised oil cylinder,and the load conditions of the raised oil cylinder and lowered oil cylinder of the shearer are obtained.The feasibility of the optimization method is verified by the comparative analysis of the cylinder load before and after optimization.Finally,a load simulation and structure optimization software for the shearer height adjustment mechanism based on MATLAB GUI was produced,and the calculation,optimization and design of the height adjustment mechanism were completed in the GUI software.In conclusion,the load simulation and optimization of shearer height adjustment mechanism is of guiding significance for the design and improvement of shearer height adjustment mechanism.Figure [42] table [11] reference [56].
