The application of natural,safe and effective plant extracts has become a hot spot of cosmetics research and development.In this paper,selenium-rich beans and common beans(red beans,mung beans and black beans)and three kinds of black plant extracts(black currant,black ganoderma lucidum and black tomatoes)were used as the research objects.The ability of the extracts to inhibit tyrosinase activity and their moisturizing properties were compared by in vitro assay.The cytotoxicity and anti-aging effect of plant extracts were evaluated by fibroblast proliferation assay.Through the in-depth study of these plant active substances and their efficacy,it is developed into a cream mask with whitening and moisturizing effects.The main research results are as follows:(1)Ethanol was used to extract six kinds of bean raw materials,including selenium-rich red bean,selenium-rich mung bean,selenium-rich black bean,common red bean,common mung bean and common black bean,respectively.The content of main active components in the six kinds of bean extracts and their antioxidant capacity were determined.The main components of legume extract are polyphenols,flavonoids,polysaccharide and proteins.In general,the content of flavonoids in selenium-rich red beans was the highest,9.35±0.03%.The total phenol content was the highest,2.22±0.04%.And the total polysaccharide content was the highest,52.84±1.87%.The content of soluble protein in the alcohol extract of selenium-rich red bean was the highest,5.48±0.06%.Legume alcohol extract contains a variety of amino acids,up to 17 species.Moreover,the content of active components in selenium-rich legume alcohol extract was significantly higher than that in common legume alcohol extract.By comparing the antioxidant capacity of the six alcohol extracts,it was found that the antioxidant capacity of the selenium-rich red bean > common red bean > selenium-rich black bean > common black bean > selenium-rich green bean > common green bean,which was consistent with the flavonoid content trend of the alcohol extract,among which the selenium-rich red bean alcohol extract had the best antioxidant capacity,reaching more than 80%.(2)The content and antioxidant capacity of main active components in black plant extracts of ganoderma lucidum,black currant and black tomato were determined.The results showed that the content of polyphenols and flavonoids in black currant extract was the highest,respectively 686.06±6.57?g/g,898.55±5.27?g/g.The highest total polysaccharide content was 221.64 ± 0.07?g/g.The soluble protein content of ganoderma lucidum was the highest,171.45±0.6?g/g.By comparing the antioxidant capacity of the extracts of these three black plants,it was found that the DPPH free radical and ABTS free radical scavenging capacity were both black currant > black ganoderma lucidum > black tomato,and the scavenging rate could reach above 90%.Hydroxyl radical scavenging ability of black ganoderma lucidum > black currant > black tomato.(3)The results showed that the inhibition rate of tyrosinase in vitro was in order of selenium-rich black bean >common black bean >common red bean >selenium-rich red bean >selenium-rich green bean > common green bean,and the inhibition rate of selenium-rich black bean was 34.17±0.21%.The results showed that selenium-rich black bean had the best whitening effect.The inhibition rate of tyrosinase in black plant extracts was respectively black ganoderma lucidum > black tomato > black currant,and black ganoderma lucidum showed the strongest inhibition rate,which was 11.81±0.3%.It shows that the whitening effect of ganoderma lucidum is the best.The results showed that the hygroscopic and moisturizing effect of selenium enriched mung bean was the best.Of the three black plants,the black tomato has the best moisture absorption and the black currant has the best moisture retention.The results of fibroblast proliferation experiment showed that: the bean extract had a certain promoting effect on fibroblast proliferation rate,indicating that bean extract had no obvious cytotoxicity on HFF cells.Among them,selenium-rich red bean had a more significant promoting effect on fibroblast proliferation rate.Among the three black plant extracts,blackcurrant has the best promoting effect on the proliferation rate of HFF cells,and black plants are not toxic to cells at low concentrations.(4)By optimizing the drying time and viscosity of face film study,the optimal formula for determine the mask: plant extracts 5.0%,polyvinyl alcohol 1%,sodium carboxymethyl cellulose 2%,trehalose 1%,glycerol 5.0%,lanolin 2.5%,triethanolamine 0.5%,16-alcohol 5.5%,white oil 0.5%,anhydrous ethanol 2.0%,methyl neper gold 0.1%,deionized water to add to 100%,is obtained by the formula of film of face of viscosity is 63414 mPa.s,moderate viscosity,easy to apply;The drying time of the mask is 1213±12s,which is more suitable.(5)After the plant mask stability test and the content of heavy metals determination.The experimental results showed that the finished product appearance was relatively uniform,dispersed evenly,easy to spread,fresh and non-greasy,without particles and agglomerates,and not easy to separate oil and water,layer or precipitation.Natural color,no odor;The stability of the mask is good,and the content of mercury,arsenic and lead are all lower than the relevant provisions of the 2015 edition of cosmetic hygiene standards,safe and non-irritating.
