Research On The Intervention Of Green Social Work In College Students' Pro-environment Behavior

After the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the work of ecological environment protection has been promoted to an unprecedented height,calling for a multi-governance pattern of ecological environment protection by the government,community,social organizations and individuals.Under such a social background,green social work has gradually begun to play its due role in environmental protection.The theme of International Social Work Day(2018)is to promote community and environmental sustainability.As an advocate of social justice and transformation to promote social,human rights and environmental rights,green social workers are active in many practical areas of environmental protection,such as community environmental transformation,environmental protection education and other fields to carry out various activities.?advocate environmental protection.The expanding practice of green social work calls for more theoretical support."Person-in-environment" is the most rational concept of social work.Green social work pays attention to the interaction between people and nature.Therefore,the factors influencing the interaction between groups of environmental protection behavior have entered the vision of scholars.Pro-environmental behavior is a kind of behavior that individuals or groups spontaneously protect the environment and reduce pollution.As a behavior mode of"continuous interaction between people and the environment",what psychological motivations are needed for the emergence of"spontaneous"need to be further explored.As a kind of nostalgic emotion which exists in group interaction,it has been proved that it can promote interpersonal harmony,sense of life significance,green consumption behavior and so on.Whether it can arouse more pro-environment behavior through interpersonal interaction arouses the author's interest.Therefore,this study focuses on the psychological mechanism of environmental protection behavior,taking college students as the research object,using questionnaires and experimental methods to explore whether nostalgic feelings occurring in contemporary people can promote people to make environmental protection behavior.Using nostalgia scale,social distance scale and pro-environment behavior scale as measuring tools,and using pre-and post-test design experiments of control group and experimental group,this paper attempts to prove the relationship between nostalgia emotion and pro-environment behavior,and the mediating role of social distance perception in it.The experimental results show that nostalgia can positively predict pro-environment behavior.The closer the sense of social distance triggered by nostalgia,the higher the intention of pro-environment behavior.Based on the data analysis and the contact with the clients,this study carried out a four-day group work on environmental protection capability improvement.Six college students were invited to form an "I can environmental protection capability improvement group".Through watching videos,interesting paper cutting game and other group activities,the pro-environment level of college students was improved.It confirms the applicability of the above conclusions in real life and contributes to the promotion of environmental protection.
