With the advantages of high processing efficiency and high surface quality,Electrochemical machining(ECM)has been widely used in aviation,aerospace,machinery and many other fields.As one of the key equipment in the ECM system,ECM machine tools have long been the focus and hotspot of researchers at home and abroad.With the development of ECM machine tools in the direction of high speed and high precision,higher requirements are placed on the structural performance of machine tools.This subject is based on the self-developed compound feed ECM machine tool,performing static analysis of the whole machine,carrying on static and dynamic characteristics analysis and optimization design of key components;In order to achieve the motion requirements of the machine tool processing,a software system based on the PMAC motion control card was developed.The main tasks to be completed were as follows:1)The structure of the machine tool is introduced,the functions and characteristics of the key parts of the machine tool are studied.According to the principle of ECM,the pressure of the machine tool is obtained when it works in 500 A.2)Built and assembled the 3D solid modes of the machine tool components of by applying UG10.0 software.Based on those modes,the finite element model of the whole machine tool was established by using the finite element analysis software Workbench.and the strain and stress of the machine tool under 2250 N static force were studied.3)In order to further study the structural performance characteristics of the key components of the machine tool,carrying on static and dynamic characteristics analysis of the ram and the motion platform and electrode rod,and their stress and strain conditions and the first six natural frequencies and vibration modes are obtained.On this basis,applying optimization method to analyze key components,optimize component structure and achieve the goal of lightweight design.4)In order to realize the compound feed motion requirement of ECM machine tools,the design scheme of “LabVIEW+PMAC” is adopted,according to the movement mode of the machine tool,the motion control program and human-computer interaction interface are designed to realize the development of the software system.The Z-axis positioning accuracy of the motion platform is measured by the developed software system.Tests show that the positioning accuracy is within the error tolerance,which meets the performance requirements of high precision ECM.Figure [45] table [14] reference [58]...
