With the continuous updating of science and technology,the life cycle of electronic products has gradually shortened,and the number of discarded electronic products has increased.Abandoned electronic products will not only hinder the pace of urban development,but also have a huge negative impact on the environment.Since the discarded electronic products themselves have the dual attributes of high risk and high resource,properly recycling and handling them will not only relieve the environmental pressure,but also create good economic benefits.In order to solve the problems brought about by the ever-increasing growth of e-waste and alleviate the pressure on the natural environment,China has enacted some laws,regulations,rules and policies to provide an orderly recycling and efficient treatment of e-waste.Institutional guidelines.However,due to the ambiguity of the legal provisions,it is difficult to deal with the technical aspects of e-waste in reality.Therefore,the safe and harmless disposal of electronic waste is facing great challenges in China.The author starts with an overview of e-waste,analyzes the current status of e-waste disposal in China and the specific provisions of the existing laws on its handling behavior,and finds out some problems.Afterwards,it draws on the beneficial experience of the extra-region and proposes to improve China's Some recommendations for the legal system for electronic waste disposal.The main content of the article consists of five parts.Firstly,the background of the topic,the research significance,the status of domestic research and the status quo of foreign legislation are expounded in the introduction.The research methods and main contents of the article are also briefly explained.Then,the author starts with the definition of e-waste,analyzes its main features,and then explains the necessity of regulating its processing behavior.Then,it analyzes the current status of e-waste disposal in China and the existing relevant legal provisions;Then,after sorting out the relevant regulations on the disposal of electronic waste in the European Union,the United States and Japan,and exploring the advantages of foreign institutions on the basis of in-depth understanding and analysis,we found some useful experiences.Finally,we combed the relevant theoretical theories.After making full consideration of China's specific national conditions,the cornerstone proposed some suggestions to improve China's e-waste disposal legal system.
