In recent years,the research of organometallic coordination polymers has been a hot topic.The sustained attention has been paid to the progress of the research.These compounds present special structures,such as 1D chain,2D layer and 3D supramolecular networks.Meanwhile,special properties provided by the metal ions and the organic ligands together,such as magnetic,optical and electrochemical properties,have given us new ideas for the development of new materials.In the study of organometallic coordination polymers,it found that the transition metals have strong coordination ability,while the nitrogen-and oxygen-containing ligands have many coordination sites due to their various species.Therefore,it is easy to form coordination bonds among them.Considering the characters of the transition metals,nitrogen-and oxygen-containing ligands,the coordination compounds can not only construct structures through coordination bonds,but also extend to self-assemble into multi-dimensional supramolecular structure through the intermolecular weak molecular interactions.Currently,the study of the coordination compounds is still one hot research branch due to their potential applications of physical and chemical properties.The purpose of the paper is to the design and synthesis of one triazole derivative,1,1'-(oxybis-(ethane-2,1-diyl))bis(1H-1,2,4-triazole)(BTE),which will served as a neutral ligand.In this paper,six compounds of[Cd(BTE)(ipa)]·H2O(1),Zn(BTE)(ipa)(2),Cu2(BTE)2(Mo8?26)0.5(3),Cu4(BTE)4(SiW12O40)(4),Cu4(BTE)4(PMo12?40)(5),Cu(BTE)(PW12O40)0.5(6),where the ipa=iso-phthalic acid,BTE=1,1'-(oxybis(ethane-2,1-diyl))bis(1H-1,2,4-triazole),have been synthesized under hydrothermal condition based on metals of Zn?,Cd? and Cu?,polycarboxylic acid or polyoxometalates.Moreover,the six compounds have been checked by single X-ray diffraction and solved by shelxlt software package to analysis of crystal structure.The single X-ray diffraction show that the compounds 1 and 2 are isomorphic,which are one dimensional chain structure by iso-phthalic acid,triazole ligand BTE,and Cd? or Zn?.In compound 3,the BTE ligands bridge the Cu? to form chain and Cu2BTE2 repectively,and the ring and chains are connectedy by Mo8O264-anions to generate a fascinating chain.Compounds 4 and 5 are similar discrete 0D structures.Two Cu? and two BTE ligands are connected into a Cu2BTE2 unit,with one Cu2BTE2 unit being joined with PMo12O4?4-or PW12O4?4-and another Cu2BTE2 unit being independent,which form ?D discrete molecules.For compound 6,the Cu2BTE2 units are bridged by PW?2O404-ions to generate a 1D chain,and the chains are extended by Cu…O weak interactions to give a two-dimensional layered structure.In this paper,the IR spectra,thermogravimetric analyses of compounds 1-6 have been investaged.In addition,the electrochemical behaviors of the compounds 3-6 were also studied.Furthermore,the electrocatalytic degradation in hydrogen peroxide and nitrite of compounds 3-4 were studied.
