With the rapid urbanization of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration,various environmental problems have severely affected the sustainable development,and the economic development pattern of“high energy consumption,high pollution and high emission”has caused various ecological problems.At present,the Chinese government has attached great importance to relevant issues.While promoting economic development,the government has formulated and promoted environmental protection measures to improve economic development and ecological environment.The paper makes iron and steel industry and thermal power industry as examples,reviews the literature on the influence mechanism of high energy consumption industries and air pollution in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration,and then analyzes theories such as urban economic basics theory,location theory,Kuznets curve,and agglomeration and diffusion.The GIS space visualization technology is adopted to reveal the spatial and temporal evolution pattern of the high energy consumption industries and air pollution in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration.With the help of the coupled coordination model,the paper then explores the quarter difference and spatial distribution of the 2015 Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration high energy consumption industries and air pollution correlation index.Based on the research conclusion,the paper proposes suggestions and Countermeasures for optimizing the spatial layout of energy-intensive industries in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration.
