Research On Purchasing Management Of W Company

Since 2015,the demand of the world's major economies has declined,competition in the international trade market has become increasingly fierce,and China's export growth trend has been slowed down.Affected by the international macroeconomic environment,China's carbon-reducing agents experienced negative export growth for two consecutive years in 2015 and 2016.Company W,which is mainly engaged in the export business of decarburizes,faces greater operational pressure.Reducing the operating costs of enterprises,improving the competitiveness of enterprises,and achieving long-term stable development have become real problems that Company W have to face.Due to the limitations of traditional business thinking,Company W generally despises procurement and procurement management so that procurement management can not form a system,and can not play the core competitiveness of trade-oriented enterprises.As the industrial division of labor becomes more and more detailed,the value of the company in the supply chain has begun to have a huge impact on Company W's order acquisition.The deepening of economic globalization and information technology has further divided the profit margin of company.Therefore,improving the competitiveness of the supply chain should be the focus of Company W.The main aim of this study is to determine the procurement management procedures of Company W by interviewing a number of the company's peer decision makers and the middlemen who trade with the Company.This study involved several steps;firstly,the related theories of procurement management were studied,followed by analyzing the current procurement management of Company W and identifying the existing problems.Finally this paper gives some advice on improvingprocurement management.It put forward that W company should establish enterprise management regarding procurement management procedures.It also gives some advice on some organizational reform and further organizational governance.It also put emphasis on data information.The findings and suggestions is helpful forCompany W to participate in market competition and achieve the goal of cost reduction and efficiency improvement under the background ofthe current world economic downturn.At the same time,the research results have a high reference value for small and medium-sized trade enterprises to participate and compete at international level.
