Orthophenylimide heterocyclic red disperse dye is an important red phase dye.This paper mainly studies the influence of pretreatment process and auxiliaries on the abrasive properties of disperse dyes in inkjet printing of polyester fabrics.A red phase disperse dye ink which meets the requirements of inkjet printing ink performance is prepared.1)10 kinds of pretreatment agents were selected for inkjet printing,and the appropriate formula of pretreatment agent was explored,and the effect of different pretreatment agents on the appearance of fabric was observed.The results showed that CMC pretreatment had the best effect,with the appropriate concentration of 6-8 g/L,which was 17.7%and 37.5%lower than the original width of warp-weft printing line,37.57%higher K/S value,and no film was formed on the fabric surface.Xanthan gum and SD were selected as additives.They form a uniform and continuous film on the surface of the fabric.2)Selecting 13 kinds additives(CP-50,PEG-500,AC-20,EA-10,RD40,Lignin,Polyvinyl alcohol 0588,Polyvinyl alcohol 1788,JFC-1,EA-12,L62,L44,5040)explore the best formulation.the result show that:AC-20?EA-12?CP-50 are more suitable for inks mill,average diameter were 160?170nm;others weren't suitable.AC-20 mixing with EA-10?JFC-1 can improve the stability of ink(average diameter 160?viscosity 4?5 mPa·s?Surface tension 28?30 mN/m?absorbance Ratio 77?82%)better than just used AC-20;explain that there was a synergic effect between AC-20 and EA-20?JFC-1,CP50 had not so effect.Mutual compounding can improve the grinding efficiency and stability of the ink system;while the additive CP-50 and additives(EA-10,JFC-1,PEG-500)have a lower performance improvement.3)Continue to investigate the effect of the proportion of the dispersant on the performance of the ink.It was found that the mixing efficiency of AC-20 and EA-10 was the highest when the ratio was 6:4.After 8 hours,the average particle size was 148 nm,and the specific absorbance after centrifugation was 83.12%.When the ratio of AC-20 to JFC-1 is 5:5,the grinding efficiency is the highest,the average particle size is 161.3 nm,and the specific absorbance after centrifugation is 77.12%.4)The moisture retention of the selected polyols is ranked as triethylene glycol>ethylene glycol>1,2-propanediol>diethylene glycol;the introduction of polyols will increase the viscosity of the ink and reduce the surface tension.The diol introduction viscosity is most pronounced,and ethylene glycol has the least effect on viscosity.It was found that 10%concentration of ethylene glycol can increase the centrifugation specific absorbance by about 2%,and the other three polyols have no such effect.The comprehensive analysis of the selected polyol in the polyol is more suitable as a moisturizer for the ink.5)The results of TEM and ink droplet observation system show that the dye particles in the self-dispersing red ink are evenly wrapped by the additive,which has better anti-settling property;the ink droplet ejection state is mainly affected by the viscosity and surface tension of the ink,and the viscosity is too high to be inkjet.Or there is a tailing phenomenon.If the viscosity is too low,the droplet size will be uneven,and the spray direction will be disordered.The optimized viscosity is 4?5mPa·s and the surface tension is 29?32 mN/m,which has better spray performance.6)Compared with commercial ink,self-made ink was close to or better than commercial inks at average diameter 148.9 nm?PDI0.12?viscosity 4.62 mPa· s?surface tension 30.512 mN/m and absorbance Ratio 85.18%,but the stability of ink was not as good as commercial inks.
