Recently,the demand for and the amount of surface protective film adhesives have been increasing,and protective film adhesives are a class of pressure sensitive adhesives that are used to protect material surfaces from damage.The main role is to prevent the surface of substrates from being transported.It is mechanically scratched or corroded during processing,use,and storage.In this paper,a variety of acrylic monomers were used to synthesize a waterborne acrylic protective film adhesive emulsion.The effects of various factors on the emulsion and finished protective film adhesives were discussed,and the emulsions and finished product protective film adhesives were characterized and tested.Through different cross-linking monomers for modification,the effects of reactive emulsifiers and different cross-linking monomers on the properties of the emulsion and finished protective film adhesives were investigated.Finally,the emulsions with excellent performance were screened out and finished product protective film adhesives were prepared.Studies have shown that using a semi-continuous pre-emulsion coreshell seed polymerization process,the amount of complex emulsifier and initiator in the emulsion formulation system is respectively2wt% and 0.6wt% of the total monomer,and the theoretical Tg of the resin is-40°C;MAA is a polar monomer and the amount thereof is 3% by weight of the total amount of the monomers;the amount of the chain transfer agent is 0.5% by weight of the total amount of the monomers,and the emulsion polymerization process is stable when the batch is added during the reaction,and the prepared The amount of emulsion gel is small,the film forming property is good,and the finished product protective film adhesive has good water resistance and adhesive properties,which is in line with the basic requirements of protective film adhesive properties.Then,methacrylamide ethyl ethylene urea(MAEEU)and different types of organic silicon monomers were used as cross-linking monomers to improve the water resistance of the protective film adhesive and reduce the residual adhesive.The effect of the reactive emulsifier emulsion and finished protective film adhesive was then studied.The results showed that: in the emulsion formulation system,the polymeric emulsifier X-128 was used as the emulsifying system,and the amount was 2.5wt% of the total monomer,while the cross-linking was modified with methacrylamide ethylethyleneurea(MAEEU).The monomer and the amount thereof are 0.6wt% of the total amount of the monomers.When 0.5wt% of the silane coupling agent C is added 0.5h before the end of the reaction,the water white resistance of the pressure-sensitive adhesive can be significantly improved,and the emulsion polymerization process is stable.Finished protective film adhesive not only has moderate adhesive properties,but also has outstanding water resistance and weather resistance,and less residual adhesive.Since the most common problem of protective film adhesives in practical applications is residual adhesive,and there are many deficiencies in the traditional residual adhesive detection methods,this paper presents a kind of photochromic substances and protective film adhesive emulsions containing spirooxazine groups.The blending provides a smart glue detection method for protecting the adhesive residue of the film.The result shows that when the amount of the photochromic substance is added at 0.05%,the influence on the adhesive property of the protective film is small,and the finished rubber has a photochromic effect.In this way,after the protective film is peeled off from the surface of the substrate and irradiated with ultraviolet light,discoloration occurs in the area where there is adhesive residue.In this way,the residual adhesive can be easily and quickly detected.
