Research On Pseudo-ecological Design In Industrial Design

General Secretary Mr.Hu Jintao proposed the strategic task of building an ecological civilization in the "17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China".The report calls for the formation of an industrial structure,growth mode,and consumption pattern that basically save energy resources and protect the ecological environment.In view of the shortage of non-renewable resources in recent years,the construction of ecological civilization was first put on national issues.Later,in the "18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China" and the "19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China",the concepts have been raised of strengthening the construction of an ecological civilization system and accelerating the reform of the ecological civilization system as well as building the beautiful homeland in response to environmental pollution and climate change.Because of the attention of the national level,ecological construction is also highly concerned by all sections of society so that the concept of ecological civilization has been firmly established in the whole society.In this environment,the concentration on ecological design in the industrial design branch has become an inevitable result.Ecological design promotes green development and ecological civilization process,and is the only way to build sustainable development planning.It becomes the primary problem to confront currently to explore the consumption patterns and market demands of eco-design products under the new environmental background based on the concept of product eco-design and the overall planning of ecological civilization construction.In order to cater to the eco-design concept,many of the current products try to take eco-design as a gimmick to meet the ecological needs of the market while attracting consumers and promoting sales.The product itself does not meet the real ecological design philosophy.The purpose of this paper is mainly to make analysis on this pseudo-ecological phenomenon,to trigger the designer to rethink the ecological design concept,and at the same time to initiate the consumers' understanding of ecological design.This paper attempts to combine the ecological civilization concept with sustainable development by tracking and grasping the new trend of eco-design development.Based on the research and comparison of real cases,the paper analyzes the status of pseudo-ecological design in the industry to explore the shortcomings of ecological design development in various aspects of industrial design,so that the development of ecological design could be promoted more in line with the fundamental requirements of China's ecological civilization construction.Studying the pseudo-ecological design phenomenon in the industrial design branch not only has important practical significance,but also has certain theoretical value.The pollution and damage on the environment caused by traditional manufacturing industry is increasingrapidly.With the blooming of the industrial design 4.0 environment,the traditional products design and development approaches as well as the production methods have been changed.With the integration of ecological concepts,the traditional production method has been upgraded to a new stage of intelligent,informational and ecological production.The research aims to further promote the concept of eco-design in this transition period,and establish preliminary ideas for the eco-design evaluation system within the industry to get prepared for future design research.
