As part of large mining electric wheel dump truck,wheel-side reducer plays the role of reducing motor output speed,increasing wheel torque,matching the power of the vehicle,and is an important component to ensure the reliable and stable operation of electric wheel dump truck.With the development of the electric wheel dump truck industry,not only the dump truck is required to meet the functional requirements,but also its reliability is put forward higher requirements,so as to ensure the reliability of its wheel side reducer,which is the premise to ensure the reliability of the whole truck.The reliability research in our country started late and is still in the stage of development.The application of the large-scale wheel-side reducer is not mature,and carrying out a large number of large-scale wheel-side reducer bench tests for the reliability research costs too much,which is not affordable for general enterprises.Therefore,a reliability system suitable for the practical application of wheel-side reducer is needed.The main research content of this paper is to propose a reliability evaluation method suitable for the practical application of wheel-side reducer,and to provide reference for the reliability design of similar products,so as to solve the reducer's reliability analysis problem well.The main research contents are as follows:(1)By using FMEA and FAT analysis,the potential failure modes of reducer components are determined,the causes and effects are analyzed.And the gear,torsion cylinder,bearing,shaft and planetary frame are identified as the key components through the evaluation of severity,incidence and detectable degree.According to the different failure modes and the causes of the failure,the failure tree of wheel-side reducer is compiled,which has guiding value and reference significance for the design and fault response of wheel-side reducer.To cope with the frequent failure modes,constructive solutions and preventive measures are put forward.(2)SolidWorks is used to build three-dimensional solid model of wheel-side reducer.According to fault mode analysis,reliability model of wheel-side reducer is established.Reliability target is allocated to each unit by scoring method.Data manual method,stress-strength interference method and ANSYS-PDS module are used to solve the reliability of each unit.(3)Through qualitative and quantitative analysis,the weak link of reliability of reducer is found.Considering the material characteristics and the actual working conditions of key components,the reliability of each unit is calculated,further the reliability of the whole machine is obtained.(4)Aiming at the actual case of the damage of the wheel side reducer of dump truck in engineering,this paper helps engineers of enterprises to analyze the causes of the failure of the reducer,and formulates feasible solutions to the failure problems.
