With the rapid development of China's economy and the continuous increase of per capita disposable income,China has gradually become one of the largest clothing consumer markets in the world.The fitness of clothing and human body is one of the important reference factors when consumers choose clothing.Based on the research of body shape,the clothing designed can meet people's fitness needs and improve fitness,which is very important to grasp the body shape.Our country has a vast territory,the existing body type classification is relatively weak,and based on the development of the male economy,this paper focuses on the young male in Jiangsu and Zhejiang,in order to improve the fitness of trousers,to focus on their waist-hip parts,according to the characteristics of the research object,extract important control variables,and classify the waist-hip.The research contents are as follows:This paper focuses on the characteristics of waist and hip of young male aged 18-25 in Jiangsu and Zhejiang.Firstly,the sample size is determined by using statistical knowledge,and the body shape data is obtained by using German VITUS SMART XXL 3D measuring instrument.Then,the body shape data are preprocessed by SPSS data analysis software and normality test,and the variables are described.By descriptive statistical analysis,the basic statistics of each variable are obtained,and compared with the main body shape variables of young male in Western China,their body shape characteristics are summarized.It is found that young male in Jiangsu and Zhejiang are generally shorter and fatter than those in Western China,while those in Western China are higher and slimmer.The correlation coefficient matrix,linear regression model and collinear diagnostic analysis are used.The height,width,thickness and curve variables of young male were analyzed in detail.The results showed that waist height,abdominal height,hip height and height,waist(abdomen,hip)width,waist(abdomen,hip)thickness and waist(abdomen,hip)circumference were significantly correlated.The main influencing factors of total crotch length were crotch length,hip circumference and hip thickness.The upper crotch length had the greatest influence on total crotch length.Significant,and calculate their linear regression equation separately;R-type clustering of variables,through clustering tree,get the factors representing the waist-hip characteristics of young male in Jiangsu and Zhejiang,respectively: main trunk factor,crotch factor,hip factor,main height factor of human body,derivative factor,the typical indexes of each group were determined by maximum correlation index method combined with ease of measurement: abdominal circumference,total crotch length,waist height,hip height,waist-hip circumference difference.The best number of clusters is 8 by sum of squaresbetween groups and sum of squares within groups.Based on typical indexes,the number and proportion of the final cluster centers and types are classified by K-means cluster analysis method.Among them,the number of median is the largest,accounting for 22%,Using discriminant analysis,with the control index as the independent variable and the group as the grouping variable,the data are re-classified by using the discriminant analysis.The discriminant accuracy is up to 97.42%.It proves that the discriminant function is effective and can be used to classify young male in Jiangsu and Zhejiang with unknown categories.Through the research on Jiangsu and Zhejiang young male's waist-hip shape data,this paper further enriches the body shape database of important refinement parts of different parts of the country,which makes the classification and description of waist-hip more clear and meticulous,and provides for the refinement of waist-hip.The new idea provides a theoretical basis for practical application,improves the fit of the trousers,and provides a reference source for the development and design of the garment structure in the garment production process.
