At present,there are many types of drilling rig dust removal equipment and they are widely used.Low pneumatic down-the-hole drills are rarely equipped with dust removal equipment,due to the high cost and large volume of conventional drilling rig dust removal equipment.Low pneumatic down-the-holes that lack dust removal equipment not only affect the physical health of field workers,but may also cause borehole clogging and reduce drilling efficiency.Therefore,dust removal equipment of down-the-hole drill with small size,low cost and good dust removal performance is designed to meet the actual needs.Through the analysis of the operating principle and the functions of the rig dust removal equipment,the overall scheme of the dust removal equipment and its components are determined.Then the dust collector,cyclone dust collector and filter cartridge are designed for dust removal equipment.Finally,the overall equipment modeling was completed with Pro/Engineer software.According to the structure of the rig dust removal equipment,this article is divided into four parts to analyze them,namely dust cover,cyclone dust collector,filter dust collector and dust fan.Firstly,the main performance parameters of the dust catching cover are analyzed,through the analysis of the dust levitation velocity of different particle sizes in the dust cover,and combined with the relevant principle of dust catching.The main performance parameters of the dust catching cover are analyzed.Second,the cyclone dust collector design and related performance calculations have been completed;The CFD software was used to simulate the velocity field and pressure field of the cyclone dust collector,and the inter-phase coupled stochastic orbit model was used to analyze the internal particle trajectory:The pressure loss and dust removal efficiency of the cyclone dust collector were analyzed by using the simulation method,and the changes of the dust collector performance at different inlet wind speeds were analyzed.Thirdly,the change of filter dust collector dust removal area in the dust removal process was analyzed,and the dust removal area of the required filter cartridge was calculated;The change of resistance and the cleaning force of the fixed filter dust collector were analyzed,and the pressure loss was calculated.Finally,the total pressure loss and tail gas discharge generated by the dust removal equipment are calculated;Analyze the changing characteristics of working conditions under different fan regulation modes,and compare the consumption of lower shaft power under different regulation methods;The influence of wind pressure fluctuations on the air volume at different working conditions was analyzed,and combined with the requirements of the dust removal equipment for the dust removal fan,the selection of the fan was completed.The design and research of the dust removal equipment for low pneumatic down-the-hole drills provide important theoretical basis for the development of other small dust removal equipment.
