Research On The Production Technology Of Mulberry Paper In Zezhou Area

Mulberry paper,is made from mulberry bark,which is a piece of paper.Its origins can be traced back to the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties,and it has a long history due to its excellent performance.China's traditional papermaking technology has a long history,but due to the impact of modern industrial papermaking technology,the survival and development of traditional papermaking is facing many challenges and problems.This paper,through a survey of the ancient papermaking techniques of Yonglu Village,Gaoping City,Jincheng(Guzezhou area),Shanxi Province,found that the current manual papermaking has better preserved the ancient papermaking process(some of the labor processes previously replaced by machinery),is currently on the verge of extinction.This paper mainly discusses the mulberry paper in the Zezhou area from the following aspects:The first chapter is mainly to clarify the historical development of Zezhou mulberry paper,using literature and oral history methods,combined with existing physical objects to compare and refine the study of the origin and development of Zezhou mulberry paper.The second chapter mainly focuses on the use of oral history methods,interviews with non-genetic inheritors,and conducts on-the-spot investigations to obtain specific operational methods and record them,in addition to refining their process characteristics.The third chapter mainly tests the locally produced mulberry paper samples,compares the mulberry paper with emperor ramie paper and the ancient law paper,and summarizes the reasons for its good performance and combines with its corresponding papermaking process.Analysis,in the end,will provide some guidance and reference for the local ancient papermaking process and paper quality.The fourth chapter mainly summarizes the current status of the development of mulberry paper,analyzes the existing problems,and tentatively proposes some protection and development.In a word,this paper investigates and studies the mulberry paper in Zezhou area,explores the origin of Shanxi mulberry paper art,enriches the content of papermaking history,shows the impact of manual papermaking techniques in the process of modernization,and puts forward some ideas for development and protection.
