The report of the 19 th National Congress pointed out that good environmental quality is an important part of the people's need for a better life.In order to accelerate the reform of the ecological civilization system and build a beautiful country,it is imperative to promote green development.Green development aims to achieve harmonious coexistence between human and nature in the process of modernization through the promotion of green production and green consumption. The environmental pollution caused by human production and consumption deserves sufficient attention, but the existing research pays more attention to the industrial pollution, and pays insufficient attention to the pollution caused by consumption. However, the factors affecting industrial pollution and domestic pollution are not consistent. If the two are confused or only talk about industrial pollution and neglect domestic pollution,it is not comprehensive enough to analyze environmental pollution, making it difficult for environmental governance measures to exert the expected results.China has a vast territory, diverse terrain, distinct regional characteristics of population distribution, diverse spatial forms, and is undergoing dramatic changes due to the influence of the government and the market.Different population spatial aggregation patterns are accompanied by different patterns of consumption and production, resulting in different pollution effects. In order to control environmental pollution,it is particularly important to clarify the path of environmental pollution effects of population spatial accumulation. This paper uses the panel data from 2000 to 2015 to focus on the environmental pollution effects of population space gathering and explore the impact of population spatial clustering on industrial pollution and domestic pollution.Firstly, the status quo and trends of population concentration and industrial pollution and domestic pollution are analyzed from a spatial perspective.Secondly, the system estimation method of simultaneous equations is used to analyze the impact of population spatial aggregation on industrial pollution and domestic pollution. The results show that:(1)Population spatial clustering and industrial pollution and domestic pollution on have little overlap in geographical distribution, and there is a certain overlap between industrial pollution and domestic pollution.(2)The trend of change of the three is inconsistent, and the overall degree of population spatialization has a downward trend. The industrial pollution in each region has a tendency of convergence, while the domestic pollution is polarized.(3)The spatial clustering of population has a significant negative correlation with industrial pollution and domestic pollution. The regression coefficient in the industrial pollution equation is large, indicating that the spatial concentration of population is conducive to the reduction of industrial pollution and domestic pollution to the industrial pollution.Greater impact. Finally, provide policy advice for the g of environmental pollution.
