BB430 internal mixer,a large rubber industrial mixer imported from Japan in recent years,has the excellent mixing processing performance because of its constant mixing temperature function,VCMT variable clearance process technology,hexagonal high efficiency shear WI rotor and stable high speed output.However,in the application process of BB430 mixer,there is still a lack of systematic research on its mixing process.Based on the characteristics of BB430 mixer,this paper studies the influence of mixing time at constant temperature on the dispersion of silica,the influence of feeding sequence on mixing quality and physical properties,and the influence of high-speed mixing process on processing performance and physical properties.It provides a basis for optimizing processing performance,improving physical performance and improving industrial production efficiency.1.The influence of BB430's constant temperature mixing function on the dispersion of silica.During the silylation reaction,the hydrophilicity of silica surface changed to hydrophobicity,which improved the compatibility between filler and polymer.Same isothermal reaction temperature and different isothermal reaction times were designed to prepare the rubber blends.The processing properties of the rubber blends and the dynamic mechanical properties of vulcanizates were tested,and the effects of silylation reaction time on the processing properties and dynamic mechanical properties were evaluated.The results of dynamic thermodynamic tests show that the blend with reaction time of 150s has the best value of tan?at 0 ~oC,and has the best processability and wet skid resistance.With the increase of silylation reaction time,tan?at 60 ~oC decreases gradually,and the rubber blends with reaction time of 200s has the best rolling resistance.2.The effect of feeding sequence on the properties of rubber blends.Based on the unique 6WI rotor of BB430 internal mixer,under the same rotating speed,torque and filling coefficient process conditions,rubber,chemicals,environmentally friendly oil and carbon black are fed at different process time nodes,resulting in the difference of physical mixing and chemical reaction,thus affecting the processing performance and physical and mechanical properties of the compound.Through a variety of technological tests,the optimum densification process is as follows:the pre-mixing process of rubber,chemicals and carbon black at 110 ~oC.The rubber blends will be obtained by the best comprehensive performance.3.The influence of high-speed mixing process on processing and physical properties.Based on the stable high-speed output of BB430,the physical and mechanical properties of rubber compound prepared by mixing raw rubber,chemicals and carbon black at the same time and adding environmental protection oil after a period of mixing,or by mixing raw rubber,chemicals,carbon black and environmental protection oil at the same time with the high-speed mixing process of 55-60 rpm can be equivalent to or better than that of traditional rubber compound prepared by adding raw rubber,chemicals,carbon black and environmental protection oil in turn with middle speed.The dispersibility and processability of this kind of mixing process are better than those of the traditional mixing process.At the same time,the production efficiency can be increased by 20-27%.
