Current Status Investigation And The Countermeasures Research Of The Faeces Pollutant Treatment From The Breeding Industry In Liuyang District

Liuyang is a traditional farming county,which known as the large-scale breeding industry county having the long history of traditional pig farming practices and productivity,the national hog-producing county,the standardized pig farming demonstration area of the Hunan province,Quality & Safety supervision area and the demonstration county of the animal and fishery production,and also the demonstration county of the herbivorous animal husbandry,faeces and sewage emission from the breeding industry is growing up with the rapid improvement in recent years,resulted in the pollution of the environment more and more prominent.In this paper,we investigated the status of manure disposal in Liuyang which aims to understand the current status and existing problems of livestock and poultry manure disposal,to assess the current situation of livestock and poultry breeding and to explore sewage treatment process of different types of breeding scale in Liuyang area,providing theoretical basis for scientific planning and sustainable development of livestock and poultry farming in Liuyang area.Through literature analysis,typical survey,interview observation and comparative analysis,it was found that the following major problems existed in the treatment of livestock and poultry manure in Liuyang:The emission of the faeces and sewage is growing up,but the use as fertilizer contributing to farm production is growing down.The faeces and sewage emission of the large-scale breeding farm is over-concentrated,so as the faeces pollutant is harder to treat.Structure of the breeding industry is unreasonable,also the management is not standardized.The use of veterinary drugs and the feed is improper,too high of the pollution content on farming waste.Small farmers and more scattered,so it is difficult to supervise emissions of aquaculture pollution;lack of funds for pollution prevention and control of aquaculture,and the measures taken are simple and invalid.According to the problems summarized above all,here is the suggestions aiming on the sustainable development of the breeding industry in Liuyang District:Taking integrated measures to raise the utilization ratio of recycling the faeces into fertilizer.Strengthen the breeding pollutant treatment and the development of the prevention andcontrol system;accelerate the adjustment and optimization of the structure of the breeding industry;strict regulation of veterinary drugs and feed standards to reduce the livestock excretion of pollutants;strengthen the supervision and guide the standardization of production.The government needs to increase its support to promote industrial restructuring and upgrading.
