In the preliminary study of the research group,the Ar-H2-H2O mixed atmosphere has achieved good results in the decarburization of the iron-carbon alloy ribbon,and the iron-carbon alloy ribbon was developed under the weaker oxidizing Ar-CO-CO2atmosphere.Decarbonation research.Taking 1mm thick iron-carbon alloy ribbon with initial carbon content of 4.15 and 3.0wt%as the research object,under the weak oxidizing atmosphere of Ar-CO-CO2,aiming at rapid decarburization and iron non-oxidation,focus on Pco2/Pco,mixed gas flow rate,initial CO content,decarburization temperature,decarburization time on the gas-solid decarburization reaction of Fe-C alloy thin strip.The effects of Pco2/Pco,mixed gas flow rate and initial CO content on the decarburization of 1mm iron-carbon alloy ribbon with an initial carbon content of 4.15%were determined and the optimum atmospheric conditions were determined.And determine the critical point at which Pco2/Pco does not oxidize the thin strip.Under the experimental conditions,in the range of 550-850mL·min-1,increasing the mixed gas flow rate can significantly improve the decarburization effect;when the value of Pco2/Pco is more than 0.35,the iron element on the surface of the iron-carbon alloy ribbon begins to undergo micro-oxidation.When studying the effect of initial CO content on decarburization,the initial CO content was 25%to obtain a better decarburization effect.Under the condition of Ar-CO-CO2 weak oxidizing atmosphere,when the decarburization temperature is 1413K,the suitable atmospheric conditions are:mixed gas flow rate 850 mL·min-1,initial CO content 25%,Pco2/Pco 0.35.At a certain temperature,the ratio of the mixed atmosphere Pco2/Pco plays a decisive factor as to whether or not the iron element in the ribbon is oxidized.The Pco2/Pco value increases and the decarburization rate increases.However,if the Pco2/Pco ratio is too high,the oxidation of iron will occur during decarburization.At the temperature of 1413 K,1353 K and 1293 K,the deoxidation of iron will be accompanied by oxidation of iron.The critical Pco2/Pco are 0.35,0.38,and 0.44,respectively.Figure 34;Table 7;Reference 50.
