The mine loader,known as crawler loader or dig and install loader,is a typical operation machine of mine engineering.Compared to the single functional excavator,there is a main structural feature in mine loader,which has transit agencies that couples transporting function of digging and loading,thereby realizes high efficiency,continuous and quick tunneling.As key component of the rapid mining equipment,it is widely used in mining,railway,water diversion and national defense construction.Virtual prototype simulation is an important modern mechanical engineering design method.In order to thoroughly understand performance of a loader,a virtual prototype model of working mechanism is established,and the hydraulic system simulation model for working mechanism,which contains the finite element structure strength analysis and hydraulic system simulation software.Finally the simulation experiment of virtual prototype is realized,and the performance parameters of the working structure and operation process of the product are obtained.The limit motion range and envelope curve of working mechanism are obtained.The displacement,velocity and acceleration of the moving process are obtained,as well as the force of each structure under maximum impact load is obtained.Through the results of comprehensive structural strength analysis,we can draw some conclusions that the force of each part is more uniform and the greater stress appears in the hinge position.By analyzing hydraulic system simulation,the parameters of each group meet the design requirements.The engineering practice shows that the virtual prototyping technology can be used to carry out the simulation of the working mechanism of the loader with effectively experimental data.Whole structure movement,stress distribution and flow fluctuation rule of the hydraulic system are under investigated.These are difficult to obtain under normal experimental conditions with require high cost.In short,the model and research method established in this study can effectively support the design improvement and optimization.The strength results of the large arm are used for the lightweight design and structural optimization.
