In recent years,with the increasing environmental problems being taken seriously,Wehave more stringent requirements for the layout of modern coal chemical projects.Sulfur recovery units have become more important in the chemical industry than ever before,becoming an indispensable part in chemical enterprise;at the same time,companies have also adopted advanced technology and control technology to improve the sulfur recovery rate of chemical plants and meet the national standards for comprehensive treatment of atmospheric pollution.Based on the automatic control system of Krause sulfur recovery of a chemical enterprise environmental protection project,the process control and safety interlock scheme of the automatic control system for the sulfur recovery unit with an annual output of 300,000 tons of methanol has been completed and the configuration software has been implemented.First of all,the analysis for the process characteristics of the company's two-stage Claus sulfur recovery is given,and then the process control scheme and the safety interlocking scheme design for the main burner control gas supply component,valve adjustment control,ratio analyzer control etc are adoptedin the codition of the disturbance of acid gas composition change in the process package,and the control design of the system automatic control and interlock protection is realized based on the configuration method of the DCS system.The application results show that the design can achieve the long-term stable operation of the system,save energy and reduce consumption,maximize the economic benefits of the device.
