The variable cross-section piles are widely used in the treatment of storage tanks,but different types of variable cross-section piles have different shortcomings in the design and construction process.Vortex expanding compressed pile is a new pile with expanded diameter.Compared with the traditional equal-section pile bearing capacity,reducing sedimentation effect is good,and will not happen collapse hole phenomenon.Butit has not carried on the research to its bearing characteristic at present.Little research has been done on the application of expanded-diameter piles to composite foundations.In this paper,through the indoor model test and finite element software abaqus ABAQUS numerical simulation contrast analysis the bearing capacity of vortex expanding compressed pile.At the same time,throughthefinite element software ABAQUSanalysisthe Q-S curve,stress-ratio of pile-soil and so on of dislocation method of composite foundation with vibro-compaction pile.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1.The two-position model was established by the indoor model test and large-scale finite element software ABAQUS,and the load settlement curve,axial force curve and lateral friction curve of the pile with vortex squeezing and dilatation were studied and compared with that of the equal-section pile,It is concluded that the pile with vortex squeezing and dilatation can greatly improve the bearing capacity and reduce the settlement.2.Through thefinite element software ABAQUSanalysis the different of bearing characteristics between composite foundationofstaggered vortex expansion pile and Equal-Section Pile Composite Foundation.3.The three-dimensional solid model was established by ABAQUS finite element software,analysisthe impact of cushion modulus,cushion thickness,vertical load grade,pile modulus,soil modulus around the pile on load-settlement curve,pile-soil stress ratio,pile axial stress curve of dislocation method of composite foundation.And the corresponding laws are summed up,which will provide reference for the selection of material and size when the composite foundation ofstaggered vortex expansion pile is used in engineering practice.
