As an advanced drilling technology,geosteering while drilling use multi-source data which combined the actual underground geological characteristics to determine and control the well trajectory.It adjust the wellbore trajectory and guide the bit drilling along the optimal position of formation according to the real-time geological data and reservoir data,under the condition that the formation property and layer characteristics are not known in advance.Currently,geosteering while drilling technology has developed into the core technology in drilling construction filed.It has been widely used in large displacement directional wells,horizontal wells and special process wells,and is an effective tool for developing complex reservoirs.Geosteering while drilling involves the technologies such as the acquisition,transmission,processing,visualization and intelligent interpretation of seismic interpretation model data,logging data,3D geological modeling data and related engineering data and so on.The 3D geological modeling uses modern spatial information theory to study the information processing,data organization,spatial modeling and digital expression of stratum and its environment.It realized the 3D reproduction and visual interaction of stratum and its environmental information combines the scientific visualization techniques.The expression to study formation and use of modern spatial information theory of 3D geological modeling in information processing,data organization,spatial modeling and digital,and real 3D reproduction and mutual visualization of the stratum and the environmental information combined with scientific visualization technology.The 3D geological model with large scale and high resolution based on multi-source geological data can flexible display the 3D geological entities,and makes people have an intuitive understanding of the complex geological environment.Thus we can adjust the trajectory at any time in the process of well drilling,in order to achieve the best effect of oil or water injection.This papers realized the collection,storage,management and integration of multi-source geological data,according to the data characteristics of dispersion,large time span,huge volume and wide variety,and provide data support for 3D geological modeling.Firstly,we studied the multi-source data of geological modeling,and analyzed the source,acquisition,storage method of the oil and gas reservoirs geological data,and analyzed the contents,file format of each geological data.And then different storage format are designed for each kind of data.Secondly,we studied the processing and visualization of each kind of data.Finally,the compatible loading,visual display and management of modeling data are realized on the open source platform OpendTect.
