The Study On Regional Differences Of Natural Gas Consumption In China

With the development of the low-carbon economy and the increase of emissionreduction pressure,China strengthens the utilization of the clean energy.Natural gas,which is available,acceptable and affordable,will have a wide prospect of application in China,and the use of natural gas is becoming increasingly widespread.The uneven distribution of natural gas resources and differences in economic development in China,making the regional natural gas consumption situation and the consumption patterns are different.Under the circum stances,clearlying China gas consumption differentiation characteristics,mastering the natural gas consumption patterns,to promote the development of natural gas has the indispensable role.First of all,this paper analyzed and summarized the research status of natural gas consumption and related theories,and introduced the basic method of evaluating regional differences.Next,starting from the current state of natural gas consumption,we made a statistical description of the differences of natural gas consumption in the four regions of Eastern,central,Western and Northeast China,as well as the analysis of the regional differences of the natural gas consumption based on Theil index.And then according to the regional differentiation of natural gas consumption,analyzed the difference characteristics of natural gas consumption in China.Finally,according to the regional differences in the consumption of natural gas,we put forward three policy suggestions to ensure the total consumption of natural gas,optimize the consumption structure of natural gas,and adjust the industrial structure.
