Automatic material identification is the key technology to realize the informationization of manufacturing enterprises.The casting and forging industry has typical characteristics of discrete manufacturing which has high production temperature,harsh production environment,various parts in shape and its rough surface,it is difficult to realize the parts identification by traditional technology.Laser Direct Marking Technology,as a new type of marking technology emerged in recent years,has many problems in the application of casting and forging industry,it mainly includes that the traditional laser marking machine is difficult to adapt to the various spatial location of the casting and forging industry and the actual marking requirements of various parts,laser processing parameters are difficult to select,the QR code(Quick Response Code)is difficult to identify because of the low surface quality of materials,the system information level and its efficient use are low.This paper studies the laser marking technology of casting and forging materials and provides system solutions for the application to solve these problems in the casting and forging industry.The main research contents are as follows:(1)According to the actual processing requirements of the casting and forging industry,the application scenario of casting and forging material production is analyzed,the design difficulties are clarified,and the system design objectives are given.(2)The overall design scheme of the mobile laser marking machine for casting and forging materials is given,and the overall structure and main parts structure of the laser marking machine are designed.The three-dimensional modeling and assembly simulation of the laser marking machine are carried out by using Autodesk Inventor software,and the finite element analysis of the core component-laser positioning mechanism is carried out to verify its design parameters.(3)By analyzing the laser processing parameters,the orthogonal experiment of the processing parameters was designed and completed for the casting and forging materials,and the optimal laser processing parameters were given based on the experimental results.(4)An algorithm of QR code recognition based on simulated annealing BP(backpropagation)neural network is proposed to restore QR code images contaminated by rough pits,rust,stains and other factors on the surface of casting and forging materials,so as to improve the success rate of two-dimensional code recognition.(5)According to the needs of enterprises,the laser marking data platform and system auxiliary program are designed and implemented,which improves the informatization level of the system.The laser marking system for casting and forging materials can solve the main problems of the application of laser marking technology in casting and forging industry,and has been put into practical use in the field to achieve the expected use effect.The laser marking system for casting and forging materials can be promoted in the casting and forging industry,it can also provide reference for the research of laser marking technology in other industries,it is of great significance.
