The laser marking gets a fast development with the laser processing expansion in the industry. The need of software increases continuously and greatly also. The development of software has vaster foreground than hardware product. The marking speed and accuracy ,in laser marking, rely on the software more and more. In the foundation of Button Marking System, I continued to develop the Flying Marking System.This thesis introduces the present condition and trend about the laser processing, laser marking and flying marking etc.. So we can have an explicit understanding about flying marking. At first, this thesis introduces some kinds of graphics and fonts often needed to use in laser marking. These include True Type font, Lattice font, BMP file and PLT file. The least deviation is a basic algorithm for the interpolation in line and arc. The interpolation principle of B-Splines of True Type font is explained particularly and the deBoor algorithm is introduced. Because different parameters have different influence in the laser marking, so this thesis also has done some analysis. Others adopted two-dimensional system generally in the aspects of flying marking system, this software is one dimensional system. This thesis introduces one dimension flying marking system to carry out principle and algorithm realization in detail.It mainly is the improvement of both sides in the development in this software. One of the improvement point is obtaining ways about lattic font. The improvement point makes simple and direct efficiently. The other improvement point is programming the marking velocity. Thus the applied level of the software is higher than before. The structure of software is divided two parts. One is the first floor and the other is upper floor. So we can expand the software function easily.
