The drilling well-filed measure and control system is an indispensable part of LWD engineering.Logging while drilling(LWD)technology refers to the drilling process that is to measure the physical parameters of formation while drilling,and send partial results to the ground in real time for processing.Meanwhile,workers use measured drilling parameters and formation parameters to adjust the drilling trajectory in time heading for the target oil.The various measurement sensors and processing control equipment of drilling well-field measure and control system can be regarded as nodes,and the distance between each node is usually tens of meters or hundreds of meters.Traditional well-field measure and control system use cable connections between each node.However,the well-field space is limited,and there are kinds of drilling equipment on it,so the cable connection is much more easily confused and wrong,very bad for maintenance.In this way,ZigBee is introduced to make wireless node device and form local network communication.In order to reduce the power consumption of each ZigBee wireless node device as much as possible,this paper adopted the following four measures.First,under the condition of the quality of communication,use ZigBee module built-in power grade PL value to reduce the transmission power ZigBee module and the experiment verified the feasibility of low power design.Second,through the theoretical analysis and experimental tests,discuss the influence law among power consumption of ZigBee wireless transmission module,node distance and received signal strength(RSSI)to found the dynamic control strategy for module transmission power and achieve low power design.Third,optimize transmission data packet size and frequency of ZigBee wireless transmission module to extend its sleep period to reduce power consumption.Fourth,optimize the operation mode of peripheral equipment.Analyze characteristics of different stages of drilling process and design sensors for cycle sleep mode to reduce average power consumption.Also,by optimizing the node equipment double battery switch method,reduce the power consumption of the useless.According to these four efforts,realize the aim of reducing the power consumption by 20% ~ 30% for the drilling well-filed ZigBee measure and control system.
