With the rapid development of China's current economy, the problem of urban air pollution has become more and more serious, and it has received widespread attention from all walks of life. This situation of declining air quality reminds us that while pursuing rapid economic growth,we must also pay attention to the protection of the environment.Although the relevant departments have already issued a series of policy measures to alleviate the air pollution problem,it is undeniable that urban air pollution is still serious. In order to scientifically and effectively control air pollution, this paper first analyzes the current status and trends of air quality in China, and then discusses the main factors affecting China's air quality, and the direction and impact of these factors on air quality. This paper first selects the relevant data of four main air pollutants of PM2.5,PM10,SO2 and NO2 in 74 major cities in China, and uses the comprehensive pollution index method to analyze and evaluate the status quo.Observe the pollutant discharge status and changes in 74 major cities in China.Compare the horizontal and vertical aspects of major cities in each region. Then, through the topographic map of the concentration of each pollutant, the pollutant discharge status of each region was investigated, and the air pollution comprehensive index method was used to comprehensively evaluate the emission of four main air pollutants such as PM2.5,PM10,SO2 and NO2.Then,based on the literature research, theoretical research and the characteristics of urban air pollution in China, the main factors affecting the urban air quality in China are analyzed, and the air quality and related influencing factors of 74 cities in 2015-2017 are collected.Perform modeling empirical analysis. Finally, through the expansion of the STIRPAT model, the relevant data of 74 major cities in China are selected, and the air quality index AQI is used to represent the overall situation of urban air quality in China, and the population density, per capita GDP,electricity consumption per unit of GDP,and road passenger transportation are analyzed. The amount and the green coverage rate of the built-up area have an impact on the urban air quality in China. The results show that there is a positive correlation between population density, electricity consumption per unit of GDP,per capita GDP,highway passenger traffic and China's air quality, which means that the excessive development of the above four indicators will cause more damage to China's air environment.Serious pollution. The impact of the green coverage rate of the built-up area on China's air quality is negative, and the growth of this indicator will slow down the air pollution rate in China. Finally, based on the results of empirical analysis, reasonable policy recommendations are proposed for the treatment of urban air pollution in China and the protection of the air environment.First of all,we should raise the national ideological defense line so that people can fully understand the importance of ecological civilization construction.Secondly,we must promote the transformation of road transport mode and use policy measures to guide the flow of talents. The most important thing is to accelerate the adjustment of industrial structure, strictly control industrial pollution, accelerate technological research and development, and strive to create green cities and sponge cities.
