Chinese rapid development has gained the world admire.Along with the economic take off is a rough economic growth model characterized by high input,high consumption,and high pollution,which leads a dilemma of natural resources depletion and increasing pollution of ecological environment.However,the experience of environmental governance in developed countries also tells us that the model of “first pollution,then governance” is not completely correct.The concept of "sustainable development" and the concept of "ecological civilization" are deeply rooted in the hearts of the people,which could be a response to the huge environmental pollution and damage that brought by rapid economic development.Currently,the status quo of environmental pollution is still not optimistic.And environmental pollution has an uneven distribution pattern,which makes pollution control to face more and more difficulties,thus hindering the coordinated development of the region itself.Xinjiang has a vast territory and abundant resources,but long-term rough industrial development has intensified the environmental pollution problemss.In this paper,five industrial pollution types,including Industrial wastewater emissions,industrial waste gas emissions,industrial sulfur dioxide emissions,industrial smoke dust emissions,industrial solid waste emissions,and four types of domestic pollution,including domestic wastewater emissions,domestic sulfur dioxide emissions,domestic smokeare emissions,garbage clearance,are used as research variables,and their 2008 year to 2017 year's time series data or the 2014 year and 2016 year's fifteen Cities environmental pollution cross-section data are put to analyzes the problems of environmental pollution in Xinjiang.First,we make a comprehensive descriptive statistical analysis about the status quo,evolution characteristics and trend of Xinjiang's overall and regional environmental pollution from the four aspects,including “the pollution scale,the pollution's ring growth rate,the pollution emission proportion change,and the pollution emission intensity”.Secondly,we use entropy,a value method to calculates the weights of various pollution indicators and their comprehensive scores in Xinjiang and the fifteen regions of Xinjiang,and use the weights to furtherly do a comprehensive evaluation of environmental pollution in Xinjiang and various cities and counties.Besides,using the measurement method of variation coefficient and Thiel index to measure regional pollution differences,and attempt to reveal the distribution characteristics of regional environmental pollution differences in various cities and counties in Xinjiang.In the end,we use the logarithm regression model,correction model by the principal component analysis method,and the Hierarchical cluster analysis to build the analysis framework and model for showing the differences between Xinjiang environmental pollution areas and influencing factors,which leads us to explore conveniently the regional differences and influencing factors mechanism of environmental pollution in Xinjiang.Based on above analysis,we finally find :For the whole,the overall displacement of various types of environmental pollution is fluctuating.Among them,industrial waste gas and industrial smoke dust are on the rise,industrial wastewater,industrial sulfur dioxide and industrial solid waste are on the decline.But there are regional differences in various types of pollution,and there is no obvious trend consistency between industrial pollution and industrial output ratios.The weight results show that industrial sulfur dioxide is the main contributor to the overall environmental pollution in Xinjiang and the city,and the Thiel index further reveals that regional differences are the main driving force for the differences in environmental pollution in various regions.Cluster analysis found that the pollution discharges of various cities and towns were divided into four types of regions,and showing the distribution characteristics of "North High South Low".The logarithmic regression model shows that different influencing factors have different effects on pollution emissions.The order of influence is: per capita GDP,urbanization rate,GDP,industrial output value,population density,total population.Besides,we base on the distribution characteristics of industrial pollution and influencing factors in 15 cities and counties to gain 5 types of areas,including "high growth,low output value and high pollution","high growth,low output value and low pollution","low growth,low output value and high pollution","low growth,low pollution and high output value" and "high growth,high output and low pollution".
