| It is acknowledged that the process of textile production is long.In the traditional process,spinning,weaving,dyeing,printing,finishing and other processing have a series of standardized processes and each process is independent and inevitably functional repeatability.Among them,warp sizing paste and textile printing pretreatment paste have some commonness.Based on this,this paper develops a multi-functional and environment-friendly sizing agent and a new process to transfer the size evenly to the warp and weft yarn without desizing,which not only meets the needs of warp sizing but also printing pretreatment.Therefore,it shortens the process flow,saves raw materials,making it conform to the trend of clean production and processing of textiles.In this paper,the polyacrylate size and sodium alginate were compounded to explore the sizing performance of composite size on polyester yarn and its application performance in the inkjet printing of pure polyester fabric.The details are shown as follows:(1)Study on the effect of the mixture ratio of polyacrylate size and sodium alginate on the sizing performance of pure polyester yarn.The polyacrylate and sodium alginate were compounded in five proportions of 100:0,70:30,50:50,30:70,0:100.In the meanwhile,a slurry formulation was determined by adding an auxiliary agent such as an antistatic agent.By testing the viscosity and adhesion of the composite size,the water solubility,hygroscopicity,tensile properties of the size film,the tensile properties,abrasion resistance,hairiness reduction rate of the size yarn and other indicators,the optimal sizing agent ratio was determined compared with the original yarn and traditional PVA size yarn.The result shows that the best ratio is polyacrylate:sodium alginate =70:30,which can basically replace PVA.(2)Study on the effect of polyacrylate size and sodium alginate composite size as pretreatment sizing agent on the ink-jet printing property of polyester fabric.Polyacrylate and sodium alginate were compounded in five proportions of 100:0,70:30,50:50,30:70,0:100 for sizing pretreatment of polyester fabric.The optimum formula of the treatment agent wasdetermined by testing the indexes of apparent color,permeability,osmosis and color fastness of ink-jet printing on polyester fabric treated with different sizing agents.The result shows that for polyester fabrics,the properties of ink-jet printing were greatly improved by pretreatment with polyacrylate/sodium alginate sizing,and the optimal sizing agent ratio was polyacrylate: sodium alginate =70:30.(3)Explore a new process to transfer the size evenly to the warp and weft yarn without desizing.The compound slurry sizing yarn is woven with the original yarn and impregnated with water at a bath ratio of 1:1 while controlling the processing time,temperature,pH,immersion pressure and other factors.By testing the indexes such as apparent color,permeability,osmosis,color fastness and other indicators of inkjet printing on polyester fabric under different process conditions,the optimum conditions for transferring the size without desizing are determined.The result shows that the best technology condition is: impregnating pH of 7.5,processing time of 8minutes,temperature of 35 ℃,liquid rate of 70%.Under the optimum non-pulping technology,the performance of ink-jet printing is equivalent to that of sizing agent pretreatment.(4)Evaluate of recycling performance of polyacrylate/sodium alginate sizing agent.The yarn is desized and the concentration of the reclaimed size is adjusted to 6%.The recycled slurry was used as the pretreatment sizing agent for the ink-jet printing pretreatment of polyester fabric and the printing performance indexs of the test would be compared with the original sizing agent treatment.The result shows that the recycled sizing agent can satisfy the two functions of warp sizing and ink-jet printing pretreatment at the same time and realize the circulability,reduce the environmental pollution of the desizing agent,achieving the goal of green environmental protection.To sum up,focusing on the commonness of warp sizing agent and ink-jet printing pretreatment paste and the characteristics of the two processes,the multi-functional environmental sizing agent is prepared by changing the compounding ratio of the sizing agent,which is applied to the pretreatment of polyester yarn sizing agent and polyester fabric ink-jet printing.What’s more,a new process to transfer the size evenly to the warp and weft yarn without desizing is explored.Therefore,the research shortens the process flow,saves raw materials and conforms to the trend of environmental protection. |
