In this paper,POE-g-GMA functionalized elastomer was prepared by melt grafting method.ABS-g-GMA functionalized core-shell elastomer was synthesized by polymerization of seed emulsion.Focusing on the toughening effect and the compatibility of the two elastomers in the three systems of PET,PBT and PET/PBT alloys by controlling the total amount of elastomer and the different ratios of the two elastomers as a synergistic toughening agent.The results show:(1)Under the PET/POE-g-GMA/ABS-g-GMA ternary blend system,the impact test showed that each system showed brittle-ductile transition;when the total amount was 30%,the toughness of each system appeared.The maximum value,in which the toughening effect is most pronounced when the ratio of the two toughening agents is 6/4 or 5/5,the material toughness is increased by nearly 2.5 times compared with the use of a toughening agent alone.The dynamic mechanical tests show that the peak of the glass transition temperature of the blend is closest to the 6/4 and 5/5 systems,indicating that the compatibility is the best;by observing the cross-section and microscopic morphology of the material,it is intuitively found toughen.When the agent is used alone,the aggregation of the dispersed phase in the matrix is more serious.When the two toughening agents are used in a ratio of 6/4 or 5/5,the aggregation phenomenon is improved,indicating the synergistic effect of the toughening agent.Can achieve better toughening effect.(2)Under the PBT/POE-g-GMA/ABS-g-GMA ternary blend system,the mechanical test results show that the material appears brittle and tough.When the amount reached 26%,the material toughness showed the maximum value,the maximum value was 688 J/m,and the impact toughness under the synergistic effect was improved by about 1.5 times compared with the toughness when used alone.Differential scanning calorimetry and scanning electron microscopy showed that the addition of toughening agent destroyed the original crystalline form of the continuous phase,making the dispersed phase easier to disperse in the continuous phase.When a toughening agent was used alone,the dispersed phase was in use.Partial molecular aggregation and stress concentration occur in the continuous phase,and when the two toughening agents work synergistically,the dispersed phase can be well dispersed in the matrix phase,and the size of the dispersed phase is also significantly reduced,indicating that the two toughening The synergistic effect of the agent can better improve the compatibility between the phases and the phase,thereby obtaining a high toughness composite.(3)Under the PET/PBT/POE-g-GMA/ABS-g-GMA quaternary blend system,the impact strength of the material is greatly improved.When the rubber content reaches 30%,the toughness of each system is reached.The highest value,in which the toughness of the blend under the 6:4 system reached a maximum,the maximum value was 804.65 J / m.The results of thermodynamic analysis show that the crystallization temperature of the material moves to the low temperature and the melting temperature moves to the high temperature,indicating that the addition of the functionalized elastomer destroys the crystal of the material,making the dispersed phase easier to disperse in the matrix and easier to toughen.
