In recent years,China's economy has grown at a rapid rate,at the same time,the environmental pressures are increasing.How to effectively reduce carbon emissions is one of the important issues to alleviate environmental pressures.Through the research,the paper finds that improving the carbon emission efficiency of China's industry can provide theoretical guidance and policy recommendations for China's better implementation of the "low carbon economy." Due to the carbon emission efficiency value of agriculture,forestry,fishery and animal husbandry(S1),mining industry(S2),manufacturing(S3),electricity,gas and water production and supply(S4),construction(S5),transportation,warehousing and postal industry(S6)are representative,so the paper selects these six major industries as representatives to study the overall carbon emission efficiency of China's industry.The SFA model is used to estimate the carbon emission efficiency values of various industries.The results show that the average carbon emission efficiency of the power,gas and water production and supply industries is the highest,0.89.The mining industry has the lowest average carbon emission efficiency of 0.10.The carbon emission efficiency value of the manufacturing industry is relatively stable;agriculture,forestry,fishery and animal husbandry are the only industry in the six major industries whose carbon emission efficiency values have been declining;the carbon emission efficiency values of the construction industry and transportation,storage and postal industries are generally maintained at around 0.16 and the trend is relatively stable.The regression analysis of the factors affecting the carbon emission efficiency of various industries shows that it is mainly affected by six aspects: property rights structure,economic openness,energy consumption structure,energy price,government intervention and environmental policy.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The coefficient of the property structure is negative,that is,the increase in the proportion of non-state-owned employees will increase the efficiency of carbon emissions,which indicates that the rapid development of China's non-state-owned economy has a relatively positive effect on improving the carbon emission efficiency of the industry;(2)Economic openness contribute to the improvement of carbon emission efficiency to a certain extent.(3)The energy consumption structure has a negative impact on carbon emission efficiency,which means that the higher the coal consumption,the lower the carbon emission efficiency;(4)The increase in energy prices can encourage enterprises to adopt more concentrated production methods,thus reducing the input of energy factors.(5)If the government excessively intervenes in economic resources and market,it will not be conducive to improving carbon emission efficiency;(6)the coefficient of environmental policy is negative,and the impact on carbon emission efficiency value is not significant.
