With the increasing attention to the environmental protection,the formaldehyde-free stiffening finishing agent has gradually become the main direction of scholars'research.Although the polyvinyl acetate stiffening agent widely used on the market is low in price and good in stiffness,the toughness of the emulsion film is bad,the feeling of the finished fabric is rough;The stability of the polyacrylate stiffening agent is high,and the finishing fabric is excellent in stiffness.It does not turn yellow under high temperature conditions,but the emulsion has the defects of hot sticky and crisp,and the feeling of the finished fabric is not good.Therefore,it is necessary to develop a new environment-friendly stiffening finishing agent for polyester fabric,which has excellent stiffening effect and a good fullness and thick feeling of the finished fabric,it does not turn yellow under high temperature conditions,and it has fast drying performance.This topic is to synthesize a kind of stiffening finishing agent with excellent comprehensive performance for the polyester curtain fabric.The polymerization process and structural properties of the stiffening finishing agent are studied from the following aspects:Firstly,using monomer pre-emulsification,seed emulsion polymerization process,vinyl acetate as the main monomer,methyl methacrylate as the hard monomer,ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as the crosslinking monomer,hydrogen carbonate Sodium as a buffering agent,polyvinyl alcohol as a protective colloid,nonylphenol polyoxyethylene ether ammonium sulfate as the emulsifier,ammonium persulfate as the initiator,polymerization in an aqueous phase,synthesis a kind of core-shell stiffening agent for the polyester curtain fabric.Secondly,the experimental results show that the ratio of adding seed emulsion is 1/4,the amount of emulsifier is 2.0%,the amount of initiator is 0.36%,the amount of protective colloid is 1.4%,the amount of crosslinking agent is 0.96%,the monomer ratio of MMA:VAC is 10:40,the stirring speed is 180 r·min-1,the reaction temperature is 78?,and the holding time is 1.5 h,the stiffening finishing agent for the polyester curtain fabric is milky white and blue,and the amount of gel is small.The monomer conversion rate is high,and the quick-drying performance is optimal,the stiffening effect of the finished fabric is excellent.Thirdly,the copolymerization reaction of the monomer was verified by infrared spectroscopy.Through analyzing the glass transition temperature and transmission electron micrograph of the stiffener emulsion,the emulsion structure was core-shell type,and the glass transition temperatures were 31.35?and 52.17?respectively.Through analyzing the particle size distribution of the emulsion,the average particle size is 105.71 nm,and the particle distribution is uniform;The thermogravimetric analysis shows that the stiffening finishing agent has a small thermal weight loss below 280?,which can meet the requirements of stiffening finishing.Nextly,the optimized process conditions for finishing polyester fabric with core-shell stiffening agent are:baking temperature is 120?,baking time is 3 min,and the dosage of the stiffening agent is 600 g·L-1.Finally,the self-made stiffening agent for the polyester curtain fabric has better bending length,wrinkle recovery angle and whiteness than the finishing fabric with the commercially available stiffening agent,and the feeling is better,the practical application effect is significantly improved,and the quick-drying performance is better;The finishing fabric is analyzed by scanning electron microscopy,the surface morphology of the finishing fabric with stiffening agent before and after washing for 5 times,it shows that the self-made stiffening finishing agent has excellent water washing resistance.There are 47graphs,11 tables and 64 references.
