C9 petroleum resin is obtained by polymerization of C9 distillate,a by-product of ethylene plant.Hydrogenated C9 petroleum resin is widely welcomed by the market for its excellent properties.In this article,the development of key catalyst in C9 hydrogenation process was discussed.The Ni-based catalyst for alumina carrier was prepared by coprecipitation method.The hydrogenation performance of the catalyst was evaluated by a series of indexes of hydrogenation C9 petroleum resin,and then the factors influencing the preparation process were discussed.Firstly,in this study,the influence of different preparation conditions of coprecipitation was discussed in detail,and the preparation conditions of coprecipitation were determined:Using NaZC03 as precipitant,using Al2(SO4)3,Ni(NO3)2 and addition agent mixed salt solution as a carrier and active component source,parallel feed,the precursors were synthesized by controlling temperature,flow rate,ratio and other conditions.After aging,filtration for many times and washing,and then after 450?500 degrees celsius roasting for 4 hours,molding process and reduction process,C9 resin hydrogenation catalyst was prepared.Through the characterization and evaluation of the catalysts prepared by the equal volume impregnation method,the impregnation precipitation method and the co-mixed method,the hydrogenation performance of C9 petroleum resin was obtained from the high to low order:coprecipitation method>forward impregnation precipitation method>equal volume impregnation method>parallel flow impregnation precipitation method>co-mixed method.Molding formula was preliminary determined:Taking the weight of raw powder as the benchmark,adding 25%SB powder,3%sesbania powder,75%water and 10%concentrated nitric acid,in small test,the centimeter strength of the catalyst formed by coprecipitation method reached about 80 N,and the strength of the catalyst prepared by different synthesis methods in the same molding process was compared.The fixed bed evaluation process was preliminarily determined:20%mass fraction concentration of C9 petroleum resin solution,reaction temperature 250 degrees Celsius,reaction pressure 10 MPa,Hydrogen to oil ratio 300,the space velocity 0.9 h-1.Under such conditions,the modified resin with the color value less than 1 of 15 days long cycle,moderate wax mist point,softening point>90,good compatibility and thermal stability could be obtained using prepared catalyst.According to the preparation technology of catalyst sample,the industrial trial production of 100 kg was carried out.Compared with small test,the industrial production catalyst microstructure particle size distribution was narrower,the particle size was larger,the average pore size was smaller.And the industrial catalyst could reach 11.5 days near water white hydrogenation resin under the small test evaluation conditions,fully meet the production requirements.
