With the rapid development of economy,the situation of river water pollution is becoming increasingly serious.Traditional monitoring equipment is difficult to deploy and easy to break down,which brings great trouble to river water quality monitoring.As an emerging technology in the field of communication,wireless sensor network has gained more and more attention and recognition,especially in the field of river water quality monitoring.However,the wireless sensor network based on river monitoring will also encounter serious network energy loss and poor real-time data transmission,so the research on routing technology in wireless sensor network is very important.Based on the monitoring of river water quality,this paper proposes a new E-LEACH energy efficient routing algorithm for the unbalanced energy utilization of the traditional LEACH algorithm in the sensor network.The optimal number of cluster heads is used for partitioning.On this basis,the selection threshold of cluster heads is dynamically changed by taking into account the residual energy of nodes and the rounds that are not selected as cluster heads.In addition,the routing and forwarding method combining single hop and multi-hop is adopted to achieve the purpose of efficient utilization of energy of network nodes.In order to solve the problem of high delay caused by single hop communication during data transmission,RT-LEACH real-time routing algorithm is proposed.The algorithm is introduced in the next hop routing busy rate and other factors,to avoid waiting in line,adopting CSMA mechanism in stable data transmission phase,contention network channel,reduce the data transmission delay,at the same time the introduction of high and low energy node in the network,on the basis of the data real-time transmission to also want to ensure that the entire network load balancing energy.The results of MATLAB simulation show that E-LEACH algorithm makes the energy utilization of sensor network nodes more efficient than LEACH algorithm in river water quality monitoring environment,and is more suitable for large networks.Compared with the LEACH algorithm,the improved RT-LEACH algorithm reduced the average data transmission delay by 79.6%,ensuring the real-time data transmission in WSN applications.
