The Artemisiae annuae Herba is the dry aerial part of Artemisia annua L.It is widely distributed in all parts of China.Artemisiae annuae Herba tastes bitter,spicy and cold.It belongs to the liver and gallbladder meridians,and has the functions of clearing deficiency heat,removing bone steam,relieving heat,cutting malaria,and reducing yellowing.Clinically,it is often used to treat the symptoms of warm and evil yin,night heat,early cooling,deficiency fever,bone steaming and fever,summer fever,malaria cold and fever,and damp and jaundice.Modern pharmacological research shows that it has many functions such as anti-malarial,bacteriostatic and insecticidal,antipyretic,anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant.Because the current quality standards of herbal medicines have certain limitations on the quality evaluation of Artemisia annua L.,the quality of Artemisiae annuae Herba serving for Reduning injection is uneven,which is not conducive to the stability and control of the quality of the preparation.Therefore,this article is to optimize the quality evaluation method of Artemisiae annuae Herba which is the raw material drug of Reduning injection,and compare the treatment of Artemisiae annuae Herba with different origins,different harvesting periods,different processing methods,and different packaging and storage methods to formulate the quality of the production of medicinal materials.The process technical specifications provide a scientific basis for the quality evaluation of Artemisiae annuae Herba and the quality control of the whole process.The main research contents are as follows.1.Literature reviewThrough the literature search and book review of Artemisiae annuae Herba and Reduning injection,This article summarizes the research advances in herbal research,resource distribution,chemical composition and pharmacological effects of Artemisiae annuae Herba,as well as the main chemical components,pharmacological effects and clinical application of Reduning injection.2.Study on Quality Analysis Method of Artemisiae annuae Herba30 batches of Artemisiae annuae Herba samples were identified based on source,traits,microscopic and physical and chemical characteristics;moisture,total ashes,impurities,heavy metals,pesticide residues and extracts were determined;UPLC method was used to establish a fingerprint and simultaneously determine 2 coumarins(scopolide and artemilide)and 3 organic acids(isochlorogenic acid B,isochlorogenic acid A,isochlorogenic acid C)and four flavonoids(luteolin,apigenin,chrysosplenetin,and artemitin),combined with gray correlation analysis method and volatile oil to evaluate the quality difference of samples from different areas.The results showed that the quality of Artemisiae annuae Herba in Jangsu Xuyi was generally higher than that of other producing areas3.Comparative Study on the Effect of Harvesting and Processing on the Quality of Artemisiae annuae HerbaThe established UPLC content determination method combined with the volatile oil content was used to compare Artemisiae annuae Herba with different harvesting periods and different processing methods,and it was established that Artemisiae annuae Herba is suitable for harvesting in late September,which is the blooming period and considering the content of ingredients and economic cost,shade drying is the best drying method.4.Comparative Study on the Effect of Packaging and Storage on the Quality of Artemisiae annuae HerbaThe established UPLC content determination method combined with the volatile oil content was used to compare Artemisiae annuae Herba treated with different packaging and storage methods.It was found that the quality of the samples under the different methods was not much different.It can be selected according to the actual situation.In summary,the thesis established the UPLC fingerprint of Artemisiae annuae Herba;the UPLC method was established to simultaneously determine scopolide,artemilide,isochlorogenic acid B,isochlorogenic acid A,isochlorogenic acid C,luteolin,apigenin,chrysosplenetin and artemitin;optimized the thin layer chromatography identification method of Artemisia annua;established the technical specifications and the production technology of Artemisia annua Medicinal material quality standards(draft).
