Facial tissue is a kind of living paper product,and the demand is increasing in recent years.Because of its performance requirements,especially on the soft performance of higher requirements,the use of post-processing softener to improve the softness of facial tissue has been gotten widely concerned.Amino silicone oil has been regarded as a "super softener".Compared with dimethyl silicone oil,silicone hydroxyl emulsion and polyether silicone softener,the soft performance of the face tissues after finished with amino silicone oil softener have softer feeling and plump,smooth and delicate,so as to the international development and research of paper softener mainly focus on the amino silicone oil softener.However,amino silicone oils have problems such as poor water solubility,needing emulsifier emulsification,and poor adhesion to fibers,which limit their application range.Studies have shown that amino silicone oils with different functional groups have different effects on paper emulsifying properties and soft moisturizing properties.Based on the analysis of the emulsification effect and mechanism of the amino silicone oil,this study prepared polyurethane and chitosan modified polyurethane amino silicone oil softener(RRJ-2),The self-emulsification of amino silicone oil was realized,and the softness property of the facial tissue was improved,adding glycerin to RRJ-2 improves and the moisturizing performance of facial tissues was improved by adding glycerin to RRJ-2.Firstly,in this study,the emulsification and the softening efficiency of a commercially available amino silicone oil(RH-8240)produced by Runhe Advanced Materials Technology Co.,Ltd.was studied.RH-8240 was analyzed by Fourier infrared spectrometer(FTIR)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),which was confirmed as an amino silicone oil softener with short chain structure.Then the emulsification process of RH-8240 was explored.Emulsifier AEO-3 and CD-1 prepared a compound emulsifier at a mass ratio of 1:1,and mixed with RH-8240 at a mass ratio of 3:8 and emulsified for 30 min at a pH of 6 and a temperature of 35? to obtain a transparent,blue light emulsion,and the finished facial tissue is soft and fluffy.The application properties of emulsified amino silicone oil softener(RRJ-1)and compounded glycerol-amino silicone oil softener(RRJ-4)on facial tissues were studied,the application properties of RRJ-1 and RRJ-4 on facial tissues were studied through softness,tensile properties,hydrophilic properties,smoothing properties,and moisturizing properties.In terms of softness and tensile properties shown that RRJ-1>RRJ-4,and in terms of hydrophilic properties,smoothing properties and moisturizing properties shown that RRJ-4>RRJ-1.When the spraying amount is 25%,the soft-treated facial tissues have reached the standard of ultra-flexible facial tissues.Secondly,in this study,the polyurethane prepolymer was synthesized by using isophorone diisocyanate(IPDI)and polyethylene glycol(PEG-1450)as the main raw materials,and amino silicone oil was synthesized by using octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane,epoxy double head,di-n-butylamine and chitosan as main raw materials.RRJ-2 was synthesized by using polyurethane prepolymer and amino silicone oil as main raw materials.Reaction products in each stage were studied by the effects of reaction temperature,reaction time,catalyst dosage and reactant ratio through a single-factor experimental system,and the composition and structure of the synthesized product were characterized by modern analysis methods such as FTIR,XPS,scanning electron microscope(SEM),and thermogravimetric analysis(TG).The conclusions are as follows:(1)In the process of synthesizing polyurethane prepolymer,the yield of polyurethane prepolymer increases with reaction time,and increases first and then decreases with reaction temperature and catalyst consumption.The rigidity of the polyurethane prepolymer increases with the molar ratio(R value)of IPDI to PEG-1450.When the R value is 1.8:1,the reaction temperature is 70?,the reaction time is 3 hours,and the catalyst amount is 0.3%,the yield of the synthesized polyurethane prepolymer is the highest,which significantly improves the stiffness of facial tissues and has little influence on the softness of facial tissues.(2)the technological conditions of preparing amino-silicone oil by partially replacing di-n-butylamine with chitosan were studied,the ratio of chitosan to di-n-butyl amine dosage was determined to be 1:3,and the experimental technical route of benaminosilicon oil was determined.(3)During the copolymerization of polyurethane prepolymer and amino silicone oil,the copolymerization yield increases with the reaction time,and increases first and then decreases with reaction temperature.When the reaction temperature is 75? and the reaction time is 2.5 h,the polyurethane amino silicone oil synthesized is water-soluble and can realize self-emulsification and no demulsifying oil and other undesirable phenomena.(4)the application performance of RRJ-1,RRJ-2 and the compound glycerine-polyurethane amino silicone oil softener(RRJ-3)on facial tissues was studied.In terms of softness and tensile properties,showns that RRJ-2>RRJ-3>RRJ-1;and in terms of hydrophilic properties,smoothing properties and moisturizing properties,showns that RRJ-3>RRJ-2>RRJ-1.The comprehensive performance order was RRJ-3>RRJ-2>RRJ-1 according to the standards of "consumer reports".
