Water-free printing with disperse dyes can shorten the printing process,save energy and reduce emission.Therefore,it is a hot research topic in recent years.Among them,adding polymer emulsion in disperse dye printing paste is one of the methods to achieve water-free printing.Studies have shown that polyacrylate(PA)emulsion is a commonly used adhesive in pigment printing.When it is used for disperse dye printing,its solubility parameter is similar to that of disperse dye,so the color fastness of printed fabric decreases after high-temperature steaming fixation without washing.Therefore,a kind of side chain vinyl fluoropolysiloxane modified polyacrylate emulsion(Vi-PFVMSPA)was designed and prepared in this paper.The spread trend of disperse dyes to the adhesive film could be reduced by using the characteristics of low solution parameters of fluoropolysiloxane,and the color fastness of printed fabric with water-free printing improved.The research contents were as follows:(1)The synthesis process of fluoropolysiloxane was optimized using tetramethyltetravinylcyclotetrasiloxane(D4Vi),octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane(D4),tri-fluoropropylcyclotrisiloxane(D3F)and 1,3-divinyl tetramethyldisiloxane(DVMS)as reactive monomer and trifluoromethanesulfonic acid as a catalyst for ring opening reaction.A content of a side chain vinyl fluoropolysiloxane(Vi-PFVMS)with different molecular weights and vinyl groups was prepared by controlling the monomer ratio.The results showed that the optimized process for the synthesis of Vi-PFVMS was reaction temperature 65?,time 7 hours and the amount of trifluoromethanesulfonic acid was 0.15wt%,and the yield was up to 90%in this process.In the case that molar ratio of the monomer Dn(D4+D3F):D4Vi:DVMS was X:1:1,and the molar content of D3F was 20mol%,when the amount of Dn was regulated,five kinds of Vi-PFVMS with different molecular weights were synthesized.Under the molar ratio of the monomer Dm(D4+D3F+D4Vi):DVMS was 23:1,and the molar content of D3F was 20mol%,six different vinyl content Vi-PFVMS were synthesized by adjusting the molar ratio of D4 to D4Vi.By titration of double bond value,the value of double bond was not different from that of theoretical double bond.(2)A side chain vinyl fluoropolysiloxane modified polyacrylate emulsion(Vi-PFVMSPA)was prepared by miniemulsion polymerization with Vi-PFVMS as modified monomer.The properties of the emulsion,film and the diffusivity of dye in the film were tested.The results showed that the monomer conversion rate was above 90%,the particle size of Vi-PFVMSPA emulsion was smaller than that of PA emulsion,and the PDI distribution was narrow.Zeta potential test showed that the emulsion had good stability.The film of Vi-PFVMSPA emulsion was tested by FT-IR and DSC,and those showed that the modified monomer and the acrylate monomer were copolymerized.The XPS test showed that the content of fluorosilicone on the surface of the side chain vinyl modified emulsion film was lower than that on the terminal vinyl modified emulsion film,and the vinyl group in the side chain of the modified monomer could inhibit the migration of the siloxane segment.The EDS test of the containing-dye film showed that the disperse dye content of the film in the Air-Film interface was lower than that in the Film-PET interface;the XPS test of the emulsion film showed that the content of fluorosilicone on the surface of the film was higher after baking,which indicated the disperse dye and Vi-PFVMSPA film had poor compatibility.Fluorosilicone enriched on the surface during baking,and that could promote the migration of dye to fiber.(3)The effect of emulsion prepared by different modified monomers on the color yield and color fastness of printed fabrics indicated that with the increase of molecular weight,amount and vinyl content of modified monomer Vi-PFVMS,K/S value and the color fastness of printed fabric could be improved,but no more increase when the amount exceeded.The printed results showed that when the molecular weight of the modified monomer Vi-PFVMS was 8900g/mol,with 10%dosage of the total mass of the monomer,and the vinyl content was 3.21%,the prepared emulsion had excellent printing performance.The K/S value was 20,then the dry rubbing fastness at a level 4 grade and wet rubbing fastness at a level 3-4 grade.Compared with printed fabric with the PA emulsion,the K/S value of printed fabric with the Vi-PFVMSPA emulsion was about 10%higher,and the color fastness improved up to around 1 grade.(4)Vi-PFVMSPA was applied to the disperse dye printing,and the influence of process factors on the printing effect was studied.The results showed that the performance of liquid disperse dye printed fabrics is better than that of powder disperse dye printed fabrics;when the liquid disperse blue WCD-HGL dosage was 2%and the thickener FS-66 was 3%,the optimization process was as follows:the dosage of the emulsion was 12%,baking 3 min in 190?,then the K/S value reached 20,which was 16%higher than that without the added emulsion,and the color fastness of wet rubbing reached 3-4,which was 1 grade higher than that without the added emulsion.After washing,the K/S value and the color characteristic value changed little.When it applied to other liquid disperse dye printings,the rubbing fastness was higher than 3 grade.It proved that Vi-PFVMSPA emulsion had certain practical value for washing-free printing with liquid disperse dye.
