Since ancient times,the lucid ganoderma was a rare and highly prized traditional Chinese herb.Even to these days,it's a type of medicine and supplement widely accepted.The medicine can replenish energy for life,nourish blood,relieve cough and asthma,tonify liver,smooth breath,and prolong life.As modern medicine reports suggest,it contains many special compounds,like ganoderma lucidum polysaccharide,Triterpenoids,nucleoside,and peptides.Recent researches show that the dissolution rate of sliced lucid ganoderma is higher than broken and crushed types.For that reason,modern consumers tend to make health-caring tea and liquor by sliced lucid ganoderma,or even take it as a condiment for food.In recent years,the growing market demand of lucid ganoderma drives a larger product capacity from manufactures.Thus the slicing technique of lucid ganoderma comes into being.Most factories,however,combine manual operation and simple machine together in slicing process,resulted in heavy workload,high risk,low quality and efficiency.That hinders the growth of lucid ganoderma industry.From the prospective of market need,industrial growth,and technique specifications,the thesis has taken the desiccative lucid ganoderma as study object to measure its physical parameters,including diameter,thickness,mass,and dissolution rate,and use all these figures to build 3D model.Besides,the article studies the feasibility of the complete slicing machine with the support of abovementioned data,in order to make further design of its structure,including feed,slicing,discharge,and sorting components,and then makes case study of the key parts and its model selection.Based on the 3D model of the slicing machine,ADAMS is applied to make simulation test of key components,ended up with the overall design of automated assembly line for slicing machine featuring automated feed,slicing,discharge,and sorting functions.Based on the design,the prototype was trial-produced and tested.The test results showed that the slice thickness was maintained at about 2.5mm,the damage rate was less than 2%,and the slices were 20-25 kg per hour.The prototype met the design requirements of the enterprise.The Ganoderma lucidum slicer studied in this paper is helpful to the realization of automatic transformation of enterprises.This research provides a certain guidance for the design and development of the Ganoderma lucidum slicer,and promotes the development of automatic production of Ganoderma lucidum slices.
