At present,polyester-cotton blended fabrics are mainly coated with coating inks for digital inkjet printing.In the printing process,problems such as poor color vividness and saturation,poor rubbing fastness,and easy bleeding are often encountered.This paper draws on the traditional printing ideas of disperse dyes and reactive dyes,taking C.I.Reactive Red 218 and C.I.Disperse Red 896 dyes as examples to explore the feasibility of preparing disperse dyes/reactive dye inks for digital printing.First,this article uses a planetary ball mill to grind disperse red dye,and analyzes the reason why adding defoamer and reactive red dye improves the grinding efficiency.Adjust the physical properties of the ink through viscosity modifiers,water-soluble polymers,surface tension modifiers and pH adjusters,so that the physical properties of the ink can meet the requirements of inkjet printing inks.The rheological properties of inks with different viscosities and the surface tension of inks with different surfactants were investigated to explain the corresponding mechanism.Based on this,a more optimized ink formula was obtained:dispersed red paste:25%by weight,reactive red dye:1.25%by weight,ethylene glycol:10%by weight,glycerol:12%by weight,polyvinylpyrrolidone-K30(PVP-K30):0.3wt%,fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether(FAPE):0.2wt%,sodium lauryl sulfate(SDS):0.1wt%,triethanolamine:0.2wt%,defoamer AFE-3168:0.01wt%,Deionized water:50.94wt%.The self-made ink was applied to the direct injection printing of polyester-cotton blended fabrics.The results showed that the K/S value of the printed fabric was higher;the contour definition in the warp and weft directions was better;and the color fastnesses met national standards.Second,based on the dispersant MF grinding color paste and discussion of ink physical properties,the thermal stability and freeze-thaw stability of disperse red dye pastes are discussed from the perspective of average particle size;the differences are discussed from three aspects:average particle diameter,viscosity,and surface tension.Formulated thermal stability and freeze-thaw stability of disperse red/reactive red dye inks;and centrifugal stability of colorants and inks by specific absorbance.From the perspective of stability,when the mass fraction of the colorant is between 20%and 35%,the ink stability is better.In the preparation of inks,the diol and polyhydric alcohols are better than being used alone.The mass fraction of glycerol should be controlled at 6%-14%,and the mass fraction of glycol should be controlled at 6%-14%.Because the pH of the ink should be controlled between 8-9,the mass fraction of triethanolamine should be less than 1%.When the FAPE mass fraction is 0.2%,the SDS mass fraction should be less than 0.15%.In the ink system discussed in this topic,the mass fraction of PVP-K30 should be less than 0.7%.When the mass fraction of disperse red dye is 2.5%,the mass fraction of reactive red dye should be less than 5%.Furthermore,the influence of the solid content,viscosity and surface tension of disperse red/reactive red dye ink on the ejection performance was investigated by an ink drop observer.The following conclusions are obtained.As the solid content of the ink increases,the speed of the main ink droplets gradually decreases,which has almost no effect on the volume of the main ink droplets.As the viscosity of the ink increases,the speed of the main ink droplets gradually decreases,which has little effect on the volume of the main ink droplets.As the surface tension of the ink decreases,the speed of the main droplet increases,and the volume of the main droplet becomes smaller.Finally,the self-made ink was applied to the digital printing of polyester-cotton blended fabrics,and the printing process was discussed.The best baking temperature and time were 180? and 90s,respectively.The effects of pretreatment on improving the fixation rate and contour definition are discussed.It can be seen that after sodium bicarbonate,urea,and sodium carboxymethyl cellulose(CMC)pretreatment,the fabric fixation rate and contour definition are improved.And discussing the relationship between the inkjet printing of polyester-cotton fabrics with different blending ratios and the mass ratio of homemade ink dyes,it can be known that when the dispersed red dye mass fraction is 2.5%,the reactive red dye mass fraction should be less than 5%.
