Epoxy resins are widely used in the fields of national defense construction and national economy due to their advantages such as high specific strength,specific stiffness,ease of processing,and low curing shrinkage.However,due to epoxy resins internal three-dimensional network structure and hydroxyl group which has strong water absorption,make it extremely vulnerable to aging due to the effects of water,light and heat in the atmospheric environment.To solve this problem,in this study,metal aluminum powder was added to epoxy resin.Because aluminum powder can reflect ultraviolet light,and hinder the diffusion path of the medium,and aluminum powder can oxidize on the surface to produce corrosion-resistant Al2O3.An aluminum powder/epoxy composite material based on epoxy resin was prepared.The flake aluminum powder is used to reflect ultraviolet rays strongly,and the spherical aluminum powder greatly improves the mechanical properties of the material.The focus is on the effect of different flake and spherical aluminum powder ratios on the aging resistance of epoxy resin.The research process uses mechanical pull the tensile method was used to study the tensile strength of the material.The effect of aluminum powder on the wear resistance of the composite material was discussed by the friction and wear method.The aluminum powder/epoxy resin composite material was analyzed by water absorption method,ultraviolet aging,electrochemical test and other methods.Moisture and heat aging,ultraviolet aging and corrosion resistance.The influence factors and mechanism of aluminum powder on composite materials are analyzed to provide a basis for expanding the application range of epoxy resin,and the main conclusions are as follows:(1)When the total addition amount of flake and spherical aluminum powder is 7wt.%,the mechanical properties of aluminum powder/epoxy composite materials are better,and when the addition ratio of flake and spherical aluminum powder is 2:5,the tensile strength of the composite material is up to 63.1 MPa compared to other ratios.Compared with pure epoxy resin,the strength is increased by more than 111.03%,at shis time,the friction coefficient is at least 0.123,and the wear rate has reached the lowest value.4.17×10-7cm3/(N·min),which is 47.2%and 55.21%lower than pure epoxy resin.(2)It was found ghrough the humid heat aging test that when the flake and spherical aluminum,powder contents are 4wt.%and 3wt.%,respectively,the minimum diffusion coefficient is 7.52×10-7(mm2/s),and the minimum saturated water absorption rate is 4.09%among then,the minimum loss rate of tensile strength is only 4.3%,and the wear rate is 7.34×10-6(cm3/(N·min)),which is the smallest increase compared to the wear rate before wet heat aging,and the increase is only 19.93%.(3)The flake aluminum powder has an insulating effect on the corrosive medium.the spherical aluminum powder can block the pores in the resin.When the addition amount of the flake and spherical aluminum powder is 4wt.%and 3wt.%,the composite coating is 3.5wt.%brine has the best corrosion resistance.When immersed in electrolyte for 0.5 days,a very small amount of corrosive medium can penetrate into the coating.After immersed in the corrosive medium for 30 days,only a small amount of corrosive medium penetrates the coating reaching the substrate shows that the addition of aluminum powder can efectively block the entry of corrosive media.The more flake aluminum powder,the better the corrosion resistance of the material.Ultraviolet light will aggravate the penetration rate of the corrosive medium in the coating,and the addition of aluminum powder can effectively improve the ultraviolet aging resistance of epoxy resin.(4)On the premise of ensuring the improvement of the mechanical properties of the aluminum powder/epoxy resin composite material,when the addition amounts of flake and spherical aluminum powder are 4wt.%and 3wt.%,respectively,the mechanical properties and aging resistance of the composite material are both more excellent,the use value of the composite material is the highest under the amount of aluminum powder added.
