As human adaptation to the natural environment in the development process, special processing, transformation of the construction of artificial ecosystems areknown as the urban construction and development, the city has become dependent onother natural ecosystems and affect other ecosystems artificial ecosystem, need toenter a large amount of matter and energy from other ecosystems, while a lot of wastegenerated by the human need to be transported to other ecosystems, this is equivalentto the exchange cycle of the global ecosystem caused by a strong pressure, but this isequivalent to the exchange accumulated to a certain extent it will lead to a series ofecological crisis, which may be generated by human-made but man himself cannotsolve the disaster. The measure of sustainable development has always been a key field ofsustainable development studying, which core is whether the human load stay withinglobal carrying capacity or not. Based on the ecological footprint theory andcalculation method, a flow network analysis method was introduced to illuminate thestructure of complex ecological economic system, and the relationship amongecological footprint, diversity and development capacity was analyzed. In this paper, the ecological footprints of Chengdu was calculated, dynamically analyzed andcompared with the local ecological carrying capacity. This paper Introduce the basicconception and the indicator system of ecological footprint. Then analyzes theProblems on population, resource, environment and economics of Chengdu, then theecological footprint of Chengdu from2001to2005is calculated. The urban is getting more and more central and important to international societydisaster defense and reduction as a huge disaster bearing body. The diversity offrequent urban disaster as well as the severity of lost and damage have threatened tothe development of urban economic society. The integrative capability of disasterprevention, defense, salvation and resilience directly reflected on the base andcapability of than sustainable development. There as on able assessment and management of urban natural disaster was the best way of people completing disastermitigation. The estimating model of urban disaster comprehensive risk is set up. Thepaper takes the urban integrated disaster risk as an uncertain and complex systemcontaining hazards and vulnerability, model the risk assessment with the set pairanalysis approach after ensuring the certain or uncertain factors and ensures theweight using project pursuit approach which is an objective dimension-decreasingmethod good for reducing the complexity of the risk analysis.According to the status and developing trend of development sustainability ofChengdu City, counter measures were put forward as follows: Maintaining the livingstandard of people, reduce ecological and ease the pressure on ecological environmentfrom the economic and social development. Carry out the exploitation of reserve landresources and the establishment and improvement of cultivated land protection systemto keep the dynamic balance of cultivated land. Improve the basic conditions foragricultural production and its comprehensive production capacity to reduce thepressure on land from production. Strictly control the population and strive to improvethe quality of it. Optimize industrial structure, enhance technology innovation anddevelop tertiary industry with low pollution and energy consumption. Make best useof existing resources stock and establish are source-saving production andconsumption system. For reducing the dependence of economic development onenergy, hydropower, solar and biology energy and other carbon-free resources shouldbe exploited, meanwhile, fossil energy consumption should be reduced. Achieve theregional sustainable development of economy, society and ecology.
