At present, most iron and steel logistics enterprises begin to develop in the direction of informatization and automation. However, most of the iron and steel logistics parks have low operation efficiency, and the phenomenon of vehicle queuing and loading is serious. The main reason is that the location and distribution of the storage yard in the logistics park does not take into account the demand correlation between the steel, the amount of steel out of the park, and the transport stability, which are closely related to the operation efficiency. Most of the steel logistics parks need to check the storage location of the idle yard manually before entering the park, and then arrange vehicles to the designated storage location for steel loading and unloading, resulting in congestion. In this paper, based on the demand correlation, out of Park quantity and transportation stability of steel, the optimization mathematical model of storage yard allocation in steel logistics park is established. The weight value of each objective function is calculated by analytic hierarchy process?AHP?,and the weight values of 7cases are obtained.EIQ data analysis method is used to get the data needed to solve the model. Finally, genetic algorithm is designed to solve the model, and 10 simulation cases are analyzed. The results show that when the weight values of the objective function are W1=0.2941,W2=0.5828 and W3=0.1231,the walking distance of the gantry crane and the vehicle is reduced by 35.44%and 87.36%,respectively.The stacking distribution results can greatly improve the working efficiency of the steel logistics park and reduce the logistics cost of the steel logistics park. Therefore, this study is feasible.
