With the rapid development of the times,people's lives and work have become faster and more efficient because of cars,however,a big hidden danger to road traffic participants has always been laid especially for preschool children.One of the many cases of children 's traffic accidents is caused by automobile blind spots and accounts for a relatively high proportion.At present,the focus of traffic safety education is to popularize conventional knowledge to children,and there is a lack of education in automobile blind areas.Therefore,this project takes 3-6 years old preschool children as the research object to complete the relevant design practice of traffic safety teaching aids starting from generalizing children's physiological characteristics,psychological characteristics,and traffic safety cognitive characteristics,combining the demands of children's traffic safety education and the attributes of traffic safety play teaching aids,and creating a simulated game scene for the blind spot experience of cars from situational experiential teaching.Firstly this article selects automobile blind areas in traffic safety as the research theme before analyzing the background and current situation of traffic safety for preschool children.Secondly,we summarize and analyzes the current status of traffic safety education through collecting network data and field investigations,and sorting out the traffic types of safety teaching aids and their advantages and disadvantages.The demand for traffic safety education and the prospective trend of the design and development of education aids have been obtained.Thirdly,taking children aged 3-6 as the research object,we analyzed the physiological characteristics,psychological characteristics,traffic safety awareness characteristics and cognitive situation of automobile blind spots of preschool children to get needs of play teaching aid design by using observation,questionnaire,interview and other survey methods.Moreover,this article combines the previous research results with the traffic safety education features,and develops the planning and design of traffic safety play aids by simulating traffic situations and using traffic facilities.Finally,we put forward the design elements and design principles of traffic safety teaching aids to optimize the game rules,forms and functions of the teaching aids,and to complete the design practice of theautomobile blind teaching aids.It is of great practical significance for preschool children to experience the driver's perspective in a simulation game and realize the danger of blind spots in the car.At the same time,it also helps children develop a traffic safety attitude that is responsible to themselves and others to reduces the hidden danger of traffic accidents.Therefore,the design and development of traffic safety teaching aids based on the automobile blind spots have important research significance and market value.
