The fine water mist system uses pure water as a fire extinguishing medium and cannot effectively stay on the surface of combustible materials,resulting in frequent flame re-ignition,fire extinguishing efficiency and serious waste of water resources.As a hydrocolloid fire extinguishing agent,temperature-sensitive hydrogel has significant advantages in solid water,plugging and fire resistance compared to pure water.Many researchers have carried out research on temperature-sensitive hydrogels,but only for the improvement of preparation methods,they have not been applied to fire extinguishing systems.Therefore,this paper mainly studies the application effect of temperature-sensitive hydrogel fire extinguishing agent in fire fighting.Analyze the influencing factors and degre of the temperature-sensitive hydrogel fire extinguishing characteristics.Build a fire extinguishing experiment platform,using 2%,4%,5%temperature-sensitive hydrogel extinguishing agent,DTE,S-3-AB and different nozzle positions as the research objects,design 7 sets of experiments,the results show that the nozzle is located in the wooden stack Directly above,the 4%concentration temperature-sensitive hydrogel has a small temperature recovery range and the best fire extinguishing performance.Develop temperature-sensitive hydrogel fire truck fire extinguishing system and determine the system process parameters.Aiming at the realization of intelligent control,precise mixing and efficient fire extinguishing functions,it is equipped with high-pressure plunger pumps,electro-hydraulic control valves,high-precision filters,high-pressure spray guns and other components,and analyzes the characteristics of components.According to the optimal relationship between spray pressure and droplet diameter,calculate the characteristic parameters of hydraulic valves,pipelines,high-pressure plunger pumps,high-pressure spray guns,and jet morphology.Carry out the fire extinguishing test of temperature-sensitive hydrogel fire truck.The test was based on the fire extinguishing system of the temperature-sensitive hydrogel fire truck.The BX5040GXFPW01/S5 fire truck was selected.The 4%temperature-sensitive hydrogel,DTE and S-3-AB were taken as the research objects.The open fire was recorded and compared in detail.Extinguishing time,smoldering time,re-ignition time,extinguishing agent dosage and type of residue.The results show that the temperature-sensitive hydrogel fire extinguishing agent takes less time,uses less,has strong resistance to reignition and has less residue.
