The production efficiency of injection molding and the quality of product molding directly affect the economic benefits of enterprises.With the increasing market demand for complex curved surface products and the rapid development of 3D metal printing,conformal cooling channel has been more and more used in injection molds.How to optimize the design of conformal cooling channel to optimize the cooling effect has become a common concern of engineering and academia.Through the study of the heat transfer mechanism of the conformal cooling channel of the injection mold and the optimization analysis of the cooling effect,the purpose of this thesis is to propose design specifications for the conformal cooling channel of injection molds for typical products,to guide the design of conformal cooling channel,to improve the uniformity of mold temperature distribution and molding cycle,and to improve product molding quality and production efficiency.The specific research contents are as follows:(1)The process and mechanism of mold heat transfer in the process of injection molding are analyzed by thermodynamics.The mathematical model of heat transfer in the conformal cooling channel is established,and the factors affecting the cooling time and temperature distribution uniformity of the mold are explored.(2)The section shape and arrangement type of conformal cooling channel were analyzed by variance analysis of single factor tests to investigate the influence rule of cooling effect.(3)Taking the cooling time and temperature distribution uniformity of the Injection mold as the optimization objectives,orthogonal test was used to analyze and select the optimized test factors for three design variables,such as the diameter of the channel,the distance between adjacent channel and the distance from the centerline of the channel to the cavity.And the response surface method is used to establish the functional relationship between the optimization objectives and the design variables for the products with different wall thickness.(4)NSGA-II multi-objective optimization algorithm is used for the optimization design of conformal cooling channel of products with different wall thickness,and Pareto optimal solution of design parameters of conformal cooling channel is obtained.(5)Combined with the results of optimization analysis and engineering application,the thesis puts forward the design specification of conformal cooling channel for typical products,and carries out the optimal design of conformal cooling channel for the example products according to the specification to verify the reliability and applicability of the optimization results.In this thesis,the conformal cooling channel design specification for typical products is proposed,which can provide theoretical guidance for Injection mold design,improve the rationality of mold design,promote the cooling efficiency of mold and the production efficiency of enterprises,and has certain engineering application value.
