This paper mainly focuses on the design and optimization of the main drive reducer of the 2050 vertical roller mill of Pangang Group Xichang Steel Vanadium Hot Rolling Mill.The main drive reducer is the core equipment of the vertical roller mill.It has a large weight,a complex structure,and an expensive manufacturing cost.It does not order spare parts during normal production.Therefore,in design,its reliability must be ensured,but at the same time the economics of its processing and manufacturing must be fully considered,because the market likes this way.This paper combines various computer-aided design software to adjust the gear parameters of the main reducer,but the main purpose is to optimize the weight of the reducer and control the project budget.The box occupies more than half of the weight of the entire reducer,so this article focuses on the design and optimization of the box,mainly to do the following work:Through the technical parameters provided by the customer for the 2050 vertical roller mill of Pangang,the reference model was found and the structure type of the main drive decelerator was determined to prepare for design and optimization.Through calculations,the transmission ratio and center distance between the meshing gears are rationally assigned,and the gear and gear shaft dimension parameters are determined.Then,the strength of the gears is checked by computer-aided design software and the structure of the box is determined.Solid Works was used to model the box according to its parameters,and then the force of the box was analyzed and calculated.The Solid Works parametric solid model of the box was imported into the ANSYS Workbench analysis program.The ANSYS Workbench software was used to analyze the static force of the reducer case under two working conditions,and the safety factor of the case was obtained.Through the application of Design Exploration in ANSYS Workbench software,with the safety factor of the box as a constraint and the weight of the box as the optimization goal,the goal-driven optimization of the box is completed,and then the optimization results are verified and the box is finally verified.The Weight decreased by 27.7%.At the end of the experiment,in order to prevent resonance between the cabinet and the outside world,its natural frequency is obtained through modal analysis of the cabinet,and the reliability of the optimization result is proved.
